One Tail Light Brighter than the Other

I know this is trivial, but my left side tail light is noticeably brighter than the right--this is with the lights on without braking.

I have never seen or heard of this in any car. Does anyone have a clue?

If not, change both bulbs. I hate that look. I've never seen it on a new car, but instead when a single burnt bulb gets replaced.

Vader,

Good call. I had no idea a rear, driver's side fog light existed.

I really need to give the owner's manual more attention.

Thanks for the help.
