11's - Barely (VIDEO COMING)
Last night was probably the last good night of the year for the track as our evening temps will now probably stay above 90 degrees. The track DA, according to the track officials (double checked with local weather) was 4500'. Not good. We were the first run of the night so track prep was good.
Here's the stats.
60' 1.767
1/8 mile 7.713
1/4 mile 11.986
Trap 115.82
Using the DA converter, 11.986 at sea level is 11.466.
Our second run was a 12.06 at 115 mph on a hot lap.
While I'm not too disappointed, especially since I'm running on 265 Conti's with over 15K miles on them, it would have been nice to get into the 11.8's. It was kind of funny...we had a tough time getting people to line up against us. It was fun to listen to people talk about the "Black Renntech E55" even before we ran that night. We finally got a guy in a modded C6 Vette (intake, headers, tune and 50 shot NO2) to run us twice. He ran a 12.726 and a 12.699. We also had probably the best time of the night for "street cars" while we were there. Even most of the bikes were running 12's.
The video is being uploaded this afternoon so hopefully I'll have it up by tomorrow.

You've got a good point. However, it's easily explained by his 60' times. Both were right around 1.99. He had some serious tire issues. Last month his DR's were pretty new and he ran 12.4's without the 50 shot. I video'd about 3 of his passes that night racing against my buddy with the yellow C5 Z06. With new DR's on his Vette, it would have been a much different story.
