What do you guys think?

Found it on eBay: "MERCEDES-BENZ E-Class & E55 AMG 3M CLEAR BRA" Price (Buy it now) $100. Already pre-cut for the beast. Seems like a good price, considering one of my friends just got his A3 done somewhere in Orange county, CA for like $500. Think it is a good deal? or should I just shell out the extra cash and get it done right the first time?

Are you saying you would do it yourself? If so you are about to flush away $100. Let a proffessional do the Clear Bra.

Installing yourself is not that easy.... IMO, it requires an experienced artist to do it I tried and couldn't do a good job.... it's very tough to align, especially the bumper.

I bought a kit for my other car, and felt I wasted the money.

So yes, you spent a lot of money on the E, better spend extra cash to get a quality job. I'm gonna have mine done at Premier.... They're a bit pricey... but a lot of members said their work is top notch.

Get a professional to do it. Have you ever seen it done? It's all skill, patience and technique. It takes practice.

if no one bids on it and you get it for 9.99 then that is not a big waste of money. otherwise let the pros do it.

+1.

I had my M3 clearbra'd and after watching the guy do it, there's no way I'd want to even try it.

Thanks for the input guys. Based on your comments, I think i'm better off getting it done professionally. Unless, I get it for 10 duckets haha. Hey PGF, I am located near LA, where is your spot located?

This place sounds good. http://www.clearbra.net/ I found it on Google. They use a non-prefab process so you don't see the edges. I'm going to look into it further.

even for pro's, sometimes they have to rip it off and re-do in order to achive perfection, its a hard task.
