Hi guys! A friend of mine is looking for wheels on his new E63. I think the best looking still is the BBS LM? Does anyone have them on? Size 20"??? Thanks!

Drives Slowly
This thread has some 20s on an E55. I was told that BBS will do custom 20" LMs for your application if your willing to spend a few bucks.

Im not a huge fan of BBK's stuff...but Iforged and HRE make good wheels...there's plenty of aftermarket wheel manufacturer's, so pick up a Modified Luxury and Exotics or Makes/Models magazine and choose your wheel.

We have a set of satin charcoal HRE 843R's in 20" ready to go if your friend is interested. Price is cheap!!! $4200 for the set, face's have maybe 3k on them barrels are new. the customer decided he wanted different faces on is MBZ so we had HRE swap centers and build us this set with new barrels.

The 19" BBS LM wheel is an excellent choice if you're into quality and understated performance. Unlike the dime a dozen high end wheel assemblers here in the USA, BBS has to meet the stringent German TUV requirements. I recently had the good fortune to acquire a very nice set of used LM's, and quality wise, they are way above the 19" HRE 547's I also have. Their lateral and radial runout measurements were much better than the HRE's and more shockingly, they weighed 3 lbs. less each as well so the car feels more nimble with the less unsprung weight. I'm not saying HRE's aren't good; I'm just saying the LM's are a few rungs up the quality ladder. Naturally, YMMV.

Good choice. Here are the 19's on my car:

Picture also shows the E63 factory painted rear spoiler I installed a couple of weeks ago.

BBS wheels are my first choice. Subtle, but they scream pro.

..
20" LM's.....

Only disadvantage is that you won't have much lip in the rear.

Probably a stupid question but why not much lip in the rear?

BBS's aren't built for maximum lip.

From the looks of it, I would say similar to my front wheels. 1.75"
