They are not my facts that I need to check, I am going off what several other people posted and PMed me about my passes and correction figures they all rattled off. I'm with you, I hate corrected figures and until I run it in the real world, printed on a real slip, it don't matter.
One question, you claim you "could have" run 11.00's to high 10's on boost alone...why didn't you do it? How come nobody else with a 55 has? If I'm not mistaken the quickest 55 is a high 11.3.

Jcart look at dragtimes, I hold the fastest 55 motor pass at 11.34 and nos pass at 10.74 and i did it in 750 + da. I live in South Florida were the track elevation is 10ft but the da can get into the high 3000's during the summer. Last October I brought my car to Mir with more power only to experience close to 90 degree weather after an 880 mile trip one way and still ran 11.39 at 123.80 in da that was easily close to 2000 ft.

It was a great day.
not dissimilar to other days record passes are made.
negative DA date was March 11,2008 at 10:25 AM at ATCO
Robs ECU on the first pass was not reset, as the car laid down a 116 trap. It then proceeded to build hitting mid 117 and mid 118. Staying right with the record holding 55 car piloted by Enzom. Enzom did hold a very slight edge but the 63 was veryvery close performance wise same day same track. You can get an estimate for the DA from www.smokemup.com.
Whats impressive his his car when compared to the fastest stock E55 on the planet same day same track.. The numbers support the 63 in this cae was a s fast as the fastest 55 and hung with the lighter BS. Enzom hit 11.92@118.72 and Rob hit 11.95@118.53
Watch the pass on video it was flawless

Not quite correct, Juicee. I could not run on that day because Tire Rack did not send me the centering rings and lugs for my wheels. The car was tearing itself apart and I backed out praying that the wheels would not fly off the car. Just reminding people here so that they understand what happened. If I ran an 11.7 and low 11.80's at that track on a worse day, I suspect I could have run in the 11.7's all morning.

You need to check your facts and your one sided bias towards DA and how only your 63 is affected. I know it's not your fault the other posters don't help by posting da only when beneficial to 63's . My car would have easily run 11.00's to high tens on boost alone at 125 to 126 mph given any kind of negative da. I'm kicking myself for selling all my mods and putting the car back to stock, so good luck with your goal.
I'll post both as usual

How can I get the weather data for my 12.19 bone stock run last October? I want to see what that run corrects out to. By the looks of it I'm betting it corrects out pretty close to the "all mighty" Rob's correctd 12.088.

Joliet, IL

87.8 f degrees

Again my pass was at 1:57pm, so I thin this is the closest data available.
Either way, it appears my time corrects out to a MUCH quicker time the "THE ALL MIGHTY ROB/OLDGIXXER.....LOL! WHAT A JOKE! Some of you guys walk around here like he is some kind of a God, after seeing what my times correct out to I think we all know who the real driver is.
HEY ITALIAN STALLION, maybe Rob should be taking driving lessons from me rather than the other way around as you hinted at!

Andy, just for the hell of it run my 12.19 @116.12 stats for the date Rob ran his 11.95 at MIR and see what mine corrects out to then. I'm just curious...this should be good.

Andy, thanks, not quite sure why Route 66 was not in there, it's an NHRA track. Byron is probably the closest to route 66, Route 66 has an elevation of 632ft above sea level. I did research weather on that day and found the following

Jim, I know you're just joking around, but comon man..... Rob is an EXCELLENT drag racer. His 60' is very consistent. By the way, on that same day, same track, there was a 100% stock CLK63 BS (MACH5) and 100% stock E63 and non of them went into the 11s (or got as high of a trap as he did).
I don't know what the deal was with the other Black Series that was there that day, but my numbers and the correction factors posted up by others speak for themselves.
Remeber, talks cheap, in 4 weeks we are gonna see who walks the walk or who's just all talk. I think I know what is going to happen, I can't wait to hear the excuses.
#522
I can do it but it won't be very accurate as they are different tracks with different conditions (humidity, prep, head/tailwind, etc). The most fair comparison is to correct ETs/Traps for the tracks they were ran at.
What I can do is correct your numbers to -1100' DA (same DA as Rob had at ATCO). Doing so (using +2600' as your base DA) translates into a 3700' DA difference, meaning we multiply your trap by 1.0479 and get 121.68mph. We multiply your ET by .9549 and get 11.64.

I am not doubting his ability but some of these guys talk like he is friggin John Force or something, if he is so great why doesn't he make a career out of it. As for consistancy, hows this for consistancy? I ran 5 passes back to back to back on Corsas and my 60' times where seperated by .009 (1.803-1.812) of a second total. On MTs I ran 3 back to back to back sperated by .005 seconds total and have the time slips to prove it, in fact they have all been submitted to various people (josh I think) on this board.

NOTE: I looked back at the March event, and looks like the CLK BS did hit 11.98 later during the day, but didn't trap as high.

Listen, timeslip correction is definitely nice and helps with egos...but as we already debated to death a year ago, you have to go by what was ran.
Now that your car is modded to the max, I'm sure you will get great 1/4 mile times. I just find it a little humorous that you first say you're not impressed by Rob's runs, then you think he did a great job, and now you think he's mediocre again.
Whats' the difference though? You have a unique car and I'm sure you'll kick *** at MIR. Enjoy my friend.
