Juice, You seriously need to update your list. I have been over 115mph 3X already. Best trap speed was 115.21 and best time was 112.59. Both actual times but on different runs. The stock Conti's are pretty bald and I am waiting to switch to the PS2's.

Also, the E-town track might be better prepped than ones in Ca (can't compare though since I have never visited a Ca track) but it is not a great as every thinks.

Hey just cut and paste the list and put your new times in with the date of the runs, just dont combine the best time and best trap if they were different runs. I wish you could scan the slip of the 115 plus trap . I have never seen a 63 timeslip going over 114. WOOOOHOOO

As far as track prep since we go on TNT nights it always sucks but the DA is more critical to me because I can mitigate a bad track, I like bad tracks LOL. I miss my bad track , LACR the worst track in the USA is now closed and I MISS HER SO MUCH.

They are good but not great. My Five best are: 2.004, 2.024, 2.049, 2.086 and 2.103. It takes time to really learn the car's habits. Within the next few weeks I will be getting new rears, The Conti's are shot. Have not decided on the brand, leaning towards the PS2's but the car is driven in all weathers.

PS On another unrelated note. Even though my Z06 has been sold I still subscribe to Corvette Fever and there is an excellent article in Oct issue regarding RANGER and his drag racing experience with the Z. It is an interesting read how he practices and practices his launch technique. Point being, I know there is improvement with my 63 and hopefully with better tires I could achieve it.

I agree it is the most important aspect of the drag race. Only reason I can hang with the E is I usually best her in 60ft, then get slightly pulled. Fall is coming and I better see a 12.2-12.3 pass outta you LOL. You attending the MIR event?

Am still trying to clear my schedule, hopefully I can go but feel a bit intimidated with a stock car. Now if I brought my modded Viper I would relish the opportunity but it is impossible to drive my Viper for that long a trip without ear plugs and heating pad.

Just line up with a stock 55 or another stock 63. You will be fine. There should be two other stock 63's going. Get a tow hitch and tow the Viper behind the E!!

Found the 90.30 MPH 1/8 slip, am looking for the 115 slip. Sometimes the car wash people chuck them when I get the full service.(Yeah I know...yes I do take it to the car wash, it is my neighbors and he has a brushless system.) Just don't have the time to hand wash.

I just listed venoms trap speeds and seans new run of 12.43, plus your corrected run. Toms car with tune and good air managed a 12.41 thats 2/100ths better than a stock ecu. I bet Tom is back to stock cause he was having real trouble beating me on 7/7/7.

yep and likely his corrected #s are best ever run, but I need the elevation of this track. I can tell you Seans run was definately sub 12.4 @115 corrected I just wanted to be more accurate. As the weather cools we are going to be re-writing all this stuff as I am certain we will see some 12.2-12.3 runs this fall
