Engineers Menu + engine check light

Engineers Menu + engine check light
Good afternoon All,
Can i ask if anybody knows how to get into the "engineers menu" on a 2002
E55 ? I've searched the forums and tried the Mute+Call end+serv and also the 3+5+7 trick with no luck.
Also after trying these codes my engine check light has illuminated itself (Cheeky Monkey) !!
I dont know if it's related cuz I'm Not getting any errors on the fault code screen and the car seems to run fine ???
Have i done something wrong trying to get into the engineers menu to cause the engine check light to illuminate ?

I'm no expert, but I would doubt that the 3-5-7 thing for a w211 would work in a w210 (you did say 2002). The change in electroincs between the two models was probably substantial.

Don't quote me, but your car probably has the MB gateway already wired in, so you could change up to the dvd nav unit????....this would enable you to install tv and play dvd's straight from the head unit.
What is it you would like to change in the engineers menu????

Thanks for all the info.....i need to get a comand APS then by the looks of it.
Anybody know which model i need.
I've seen some on ebay but not sure what model to get.
As for your question EfiveFive....i wanted to enable playing of MP3 but looks like i cant do that know. MB quoted me £2000 for a comand unit, FITTED !
By the way, the engine light issue.......took my car to MB friday morning. Got it back friday afternooon....the Oil Level Sensor has gone and the Air Pump and relay have gone. Its going in next week
