Thoughts on all-new Audi RS6 coming soon?
The all-new Audi RS6 will have 530+ Horsepower from a direct-injection twin-turbo 5.2 liter V-10 (ECU upgrades anyone? 
), carbon-ceramic brakes, and ofcourse AWD. Would any of you consider this over an E63?
When Benz introduces the twin-turbo 6.3 V-8, it will be game over ofcourse.

I think its going to be awesome: twin-turbo V10 + manual transmission (I hope) + AWD + reasonable price tag. What's not to like?
P.S. If it does come with a bi-turbo V10, 530hp will be just a tip of the iceberg. I think its safe to assume 600hp+ chipped. Audi may have a winner this time....

With MB and BMW kicking the game up a notch, it's nice to see Audi finally steps up. I will consider it when the US website has more info on it. Manual would be nice, but DSG will be a lot better.

I loved those wheels on the RS4- they look even bigger in those pics on the RS6. Could they be 20's?
If this car is everything peeps are saying and a simple chip can get you that much more power, the 5 rings may have me. I had a B4 S4 but only for a short time. I do like Audi interiors too.

Mod this car and the stage 2 E55 will have problems. Lets be fair and give credit where credit is due. You should compare modded E55 vs modded RS6 not modded E55 vs stck RS6!

Wow...this is insane! 530+ HP 5.2 V10! Crazy...How much will these go for?
I agree with most...I think Mercedes has a better looking car out there right now. So I think that's how I'd make my decision

agree-valid point. guess my point is given cost of new rs6 that one could do cost effective upgrade (stage 1) to e55/211 and have something at least as,and likely more, powerful. just a cost/power analysis. rs6 looks interesting though. wonder how e63 or etc. will answer the call in next couple yrs?

Did you see how aggressive looking the RS6 was when released 5 years ago? Then look at the B7 RS4- it is pure evil and even manages to look more aggressive than the M3. The new RS6 will have alterations to the bodywork including seriously flared arches so there is no doubt it will look more aggressive than the nice but restrained 63.
As regards the engine, 530bhp sounds on the low side. My dealer (v knowledgeable for a change) told me it will come with 550bhp+ out of the box. What I do know is that it won't be offered with a manual. Tiptronic on launch with DSG to follow if they can get it to handle the torque. Food for thought- Audi may even decide to stick with a V8 and turbo that ala the last generation.
If the TT 6.2 is made by AMG, it will win the straightaways but come to a stoplight or sharp turn and the RS6 is going to be untouchable in the realm of supersedans.
A tuneable 550bhp, Audi interior, Ceramic brakes and DSG equals game over unless the competition makes some serious strides, though is just my opinion. Others will prefer to stick with AMG as they prefer RWD and the 3-pointed star and other will stay with BMW and their magnifcent NA V10- though it is great there are so many options.
My money is going where my mouth is as soon as the dealership begins accepting deposits.

Many of these cars you talk about are very close in performance to the E55(even stage 1's) and given any number of different variables, E55's can and do lose their fair share of impromptu street races.
As to whether my cars can put the hurt on a stage 1 E55..............
