No problem happy to help...
There is not a sign up sheet we had more then enough to get the GB started so now it's just a matter of selling what is left from the allocation.

its all about how the driver uses the Sprint booster..
I have only 1 and I have used on both of my AMGs for over 9 months and no issues.
You still have to do the transmission reset, since the lag will creep up once in a while.
With ASP pullies on the E55, there is some cases where 1st gear can be jerky. At which point driving in C mode should used.
for those of you who believe SB is too aggressive.. give it a try first and drive in C mode around town and S mode on the freeway.
Make sure you have your radar/laser detectors on!

Damn it guys...... I missed the 1st group buy because of stupid work nonsense and now can't be a part of this one either. I had read so much about the Sprint Booster on the other thread I had to have one. I ordered from partsexplorer as well and got the last one on e-bay that he had. Great service and response. Mine was shipped from Hong Kong and arrived in the US yesterday. Just waiting to get it in hand and installed. Hopefully, Fri or Sat I could have saved $50. Oh well.... Will let you all know about the E63 and the S/B by early next week (working the weekend)

The "lag" that we talk about is evident whenever the throttle is at 0% and then mashed. You can feel it from a standstill, too but mostly when moving. For example, cruising at 70mph down the highway. A slight blip onto the pedal will get no response. The TQ convertor stays loose and the car stays smooth. With the sprint booster, every pedal input is felt. I like that. It can make the ride more jerky, but that is actually in the driver's control.
Another place where it helps me: When I am "playing" with someone in traffic or tight turns. Normally, I used to constantly blip the throttle to keep the lag away. If not, you may be waiting on traffic and the car takes a split second to respond once the hole opens up and you mash it. Now, I just mash it and I'm gone.
However, as I mentioned in my PM to you, I do NOT know if the Sprint Booster will actually help on the track. Obviously throttle modulation is the concern and that is why I went with the AMG model. There is a distinct difference in feel between the one Benz - O gave me and the one I bought. I like the one for the AMG models quite a bit.

Incredible! 7 SB's left out of the 20 and that talley might be down a few. Almost 20 Sprint Boosters sold in one Day. They are practically printing money over there in Greece.

I was gonna try to reverse it out of curiousity, but haven't been able to get to my electrician buddy yet. I'll do it with mine. I still have yours. I was planning to have R try it out on the E63, so we would know how it treats that, but then all hell broke loose at the AMG challenge. I'll likely ship it on back to you this weekend. Hell, I'll even package it up this time.

That is just nuts almost 20 Sprint Booster sold in one day. I asked Andy if he would be willing to extend the offer another week and add another 10 units to the GB. I will see what he says.

As far as I know this mod can be done ECu re-porgramming elocrtonic throtle on our cars...
My previous ECU was like that before...With little throtle and throtle open more then on stock car, so the car reacts much faster to pulls harder not because its faster but because you thoutle is actually opened more the it supposed to be...Its nice but get annoying when you drive in traffic, car feels more jerky... If you press a bit more then the car changes to lower gear and rips, this it not alway wanted, cause sometimes it city ou just want smooth torgue pull ol the gear you are...

I still think it is a nice to have. But I don't think it is helping that much on the shifting aspect and there is no reason it should.
