Sorry to be dumb again but what is a WOT? Is than when you put the key in position 1, press the gas pedal all the way for five seconds, turn the key off, and then release the pedal?

Sprint Booster -- Two Thumbs Up!!!
Okay... my sprint booster arrived and I installed it today... man oh man, it's awesome!!! Exactly what the E55 needs. I hate the throttle delay these cars have and this SB definitely corrects that. Obviously this device doesn't make the car any faster... but it definitely feels like it!!!!
Installed it in like 3 minutes... very easy.

Just installed mine, and WOWOWW!! Exactly the way the car should behave. Cant believe people have a problem driving the car with this in. The way people were descibing it i thought it was going to be undriveable. On first take off you can feel the slight jerkiness, but after a couple laps around the block i had none what so-ever. Definately recommend this product. Feels like my M3 did with the sport button engaged!

Call me numb....but are these for the newer MB trannys only? I feel kinda dumb because I have mine in hand yet my pedal assembly is nothing like the one's pictured. I looked where I ordered it again and it says all model MB auto tranny????

.......yours is in the engine bay on the driver's side, just behind the ESP control unit. Turn your car off. Have someone depress your gas pedal while you look in your engine bay. This will allow you to pinpoint where you need to install the Sprintbooster. It is much much easier than on the newer cars. It should take you about 3-4 seconds..really!

My wife called too. I ran home, installed in about 5 minutes and my dreams of having my tires last through the summer are now history. There is no more stall on takeoff. It's instantaneous power to the rear wheels. This is exactly what I was looking for. I'm tired of getting beat off the line by every F-body & Corvette only to have to play catch-up and pass down the road. Once I get the DR's on, look out!

I agree the instant power is incredible. I know this is a Non HP mod but if you are at the track and can get out of the hole quicker wouldn't it make sense that it could possibly knock off a tenth or so in the 1/4?

I got mine today also and installed it in about 5 minutes as advertised. I like it, but I don't think I'm as impressed as many others are. I haven't driven it much yet, just a trial run for a couple of miles so I'm sure it will grow on me and I know already I'm not going to take it out.
I really don't think it makes the car faster, it just goes faster with less pedal push. Seems to me that its just a rheostat and should cost about a dollar to produce in China. I guess theres not a large market for these things, thus the high price.
