How many degrees rear camber can be added? Does it tuck in top of wheel or push out bottom?
Might solve my rear tyre rubbing issue.

I had to do my alignment recently
I am wondering though, why in the world would a 90+ thousand dollar car not have any adjustability in the front suspension. I had to watch the alignment shop "slot" the front A arms to just get enough positive camber so that my tires are not shredded after 5K miles.

I want the car to still have a luxury feel. That said, I really, really want to improve handling. I have done a couple of searches and haven't come up with anything concrete.
Any advice??? Change out steering rack? Toe links? If so were and whom...Any info would be much appreciated.

Bummer, I really wanted to hear too, I just checked out why I've had my THIRD inner sidewall failure and all four tires are wearing very poorly on the the inside. I'm guessing the car is WAY out of alignment and it's stock suspension meaning nothing lowered.

at the end of the day unless you tub your car and build trick ajustable suspension, when you lower it it will ride like crap compared to stock.
the camber kit will just make it steer a bit better and help a lot on tire wear.
why i was excited about this kit is that it is priced at a fair maket value not a bend over and take it MB tuner price.

I also understand that Renntech has a kit for the 211. From what I hear, it has alower failure rate than the others offered. However, the price is almost twice as much at $1200. Has anyone had first hand experience with either kit?

I installed the Renntech kit on an SL 600, which has a very similar rear suspension. My client has had no complaints, ride quality, noises, or anything else. From the install point of it, it went together smoothly, with the factory bushing removal being the only part of the job that gave me any issues. I give kudos to Renntech for fit and finish, the quality was great. I'm sure that's why they cost more.

I used to drive an E430 that I fitted with 19in Brabus wheels. I had it lowered with all the normal things - springs, shocks etc. I also had Front and Rear Camber kits installed. Front was Renntech and Rear was KMAC.
The ride quality was very good - it was firm and really European, the car lost the floaty feel common on a lot of American specd cars, cornering was very flat and sure footed. But with all the camber kits installed it went through tires like I had shares in tire manufacturing companies.
I had the kits set/tweaked so many times but a set of 275's in the rear and 245's in the front would last about 6 months with about 6500 miles on them. The inside's would be down to the wires.
So right now I'm riding stock and I'm kinda jealous of all of your cool looking rides riding low but I really don't want to go through the tire issues again.

Am in the process right now. I am using GPM Engineering and Clarence's Alignment in SD. Clarence will literally bend all the arms needed to get the suspension adjusted. Then, the machine shop will build the arms. I'm now hung between paying to have them bent and be done or to make the arms.

I thought cutting springs was a crazy idea but bending a suspension item to adjust camber? Do you really think it will ever be even? Do you not realize that once you bend metal it fatigues and is inherently weak?
People raise you cars up before you start destroying the car. Is it so important to save a few bucks on tires or drive around with the car slammed to the ground?
A new thing to look for on the used market. BENT suspension arms.
I learn something new every day!
