Enzo Race (Yes I said Enzo)
For Memorial day weekend I had planned a trip down to Colorado for my 2 young boys and my wife. I was going to take the E55 in to get the coolant pump replaced and the MB dealer did that as well as the new software update. The combination when I got it back was a brutal difference. High speed power is altogether different now. I am now going to have to be careful because I am not going to buy tires every 3 months. 
Anywho, it was a great trip and I had an absolutely stirring meeting with a perfect, black Enzo on I25. Talk about an insanely lucky chance meeting! The guy driving looked be of Spanish or Mexican descent and mid 30s. I can only guess who it was, but he was not waiting around for anyone. He pulled up next to me and I stayed on his back bumper his first pull. He must have then decided to go for it and I was ready for him. I only lost about 4 car lengths to 120. It was an incredible rush and I kind of wonder what he thought about this black Mercedes on his tail.
Needless to say, I was flying pretty high the rest of the day. I know one thing for sure, I think my car is running like it is supposed to be... hehe.

I had simular experince... Raced 599 GTB Fiorano last week...It got the same engine as ENZO only less 20 ponnies...
We ruunned 2 times at the lights..
1st run...I didnt launch too good and he beat ME about 3 car to 120-130...
2nd run I launch good and he didnt...Got 1 car jump on him...I hear him, this car sound amazing...
1st gear he quiclky catch up, 2nd pulls 1 car, 3rd pulls 2 cars...so about 2 cars to 120 again...It was FUN
With extra TB and Cooling mod, CAMS and TCU...I will beat HIM for sure...at least to 120-140...
I even think I will have a chance with extra TB and Cams !!!
He also spakned 997TT manual but did see by how much...

Does anyone know how many Enzos were produced? I drove down to the Ferrari dealer on County Line road and they talked about my car quite abit which made me forget to ask about how many Enzos were made. I also was kind of hoping he would tell me who owned the black one in town.

The guys over at F-chat have a database of the Enzos. They realized soon, however, that Ferrari made quite a few more than 400 Enzos. So the final answer is, no one really knows how many Enzos are out there.
