I don't know the specifics as far as negotiated price, mf or residual..I just know the basics. A friend of mine had a 2005 CLK 500 and after 4 7G trannies exploded on him MB USA offered to let him out of his lease 14 months early provided he move into another benz.

Today he was offered the following

2007 E63 Jade Green with black leather/alcantara with AMG Performance Package.
The car does not have navigation however the dealer is putting it in free of charge tomorrow.

33month lease
15k miles per year.

$1100/month taxes in payment.


Also does anyone have any pics of a Jade Green E63...I can't find one anywhere.

Due at signing- first payment and dmv thats it. So roughly 1250 due on monday if he takes it.

Also dealer is tinting the car for free.

Is this a good deal?

The dealer tried doing that to my dad when he lemoned his SL55. It was only until he seriously threatened to sue under the lemon law that they totally broke the lease.

Yes it is, as the E63 special was 999 plus tax for 33 mo and only 10 mi per year.

Looks like a pretty good deal. Could you please ask him to provide the details regarding the capitalized cost, tax, residual and money factor that the $1100/mo number is based on.

I am going with my friend to pick the car up on monday (provided they are finished installing the nav). When he picks it up I will try and find out all of the details. He is getting the car through Lakeview Mercedes Benz.

I know that the dealer said they are losing money on the car.

Originally he was going to get an E550 white with black leather. P1, pano, sports package. That was going to be 33 months 15k/year $930/month with $1100 due at signing. But this dealer from Lakeview called him up on friday morning and said he had this E63 that the owners could be very very aggressive on because it is an undesireable color (Jade Green) while it is not my friends color of choice he can live with it since he is getting such a good deal and such an amazing car.

Thanks. I don't love the color but I do not think it is that bad. Considering the deal is right I think the color is just fine. Had he ordered a car or leased a more desireable color with nothing down and taxes in with 15k a year I was thinking the payment would be somewhere around 1400 maybe higher.

The sticker on the car I believe is 95k

You still have to pay taxes upfront which is a B, but it sounds like a good deal. I would go for it color doesnt matter when your behind the wheel. 33 months to tear up the road on a full warranty and give it back as is... definitely worth it.

Jade Green.

It may be appealing but after 2 months the novelty of the color will wear off. To each their own but see if they will do the same with any color? I cant believe there is an 030 package on that car- was it a special order that went bad?

Actually the taxes are in the payment.

Total due at signing is first month $1100 +DMV which is roughly $125

I can only assume that you are correct that someone ordered the car and the deal fell through. The dealer basically told my friend that they had the car and they could be very aggressive on the pricing because they owners really wanted to get rid of the car due to the color.

Sounds like a good deal, but I would have your friend work the dealership for the same or similar deal for a more desirable color.

When you are about to spend that kinda money on a car, get the right one even if it costs you a little bit more thats just my own two cents.

Would hate to see him regret pulling the trigger within a few months.
