ZXLR88, are green glue & double drywall (sound deadening board, I assume) really effective for your setup?
I tried double drywall (not using green glue but mass loaded vinyl instead) at my wife's music school and it wasn't really effective... yes, they reduced the sound.... but not that effective, IMO.
Have you ever tried using resilient channels & floating drywall? I heard it's more effective but more fragile![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)

Ever set-up the weights (bench or curl-bar) outside? My buddies and I always joke about setting up the weight set (especailly the curl-bar) out by the pool. Have not done it yet but it would be classic!

2014 E63, Cobra replica, 68 Camaro, 66 Chevy II SS, Z4 BMW, Honda Element, Birel 125cc Shifter Kart.
I'm retired too. I DON'T play golf or spend much time watching TV. I've always been a Muscle car and Street Rod guy and still enjoy a little street racing when the opportunity presents. I do a little track racing for fun and enjoy driving my Shifter Kart more than just about anything. I live on the water in South Florida and my other hobbies revolve around that. Fishing, Scuba diving or just cruising in the boat. Life is good!

Fly fishing, guitar (acoustic and electric), concerts (all the old guys
) and cars! Know a couple of guys who share the exact same interests. Oh yeah, and the whole boat/Sea Doo thing out at the lake. Just picked up a Sea Doo RXP last weekend, MAN that thing flies! My safe 'old man' version of a crotch rocket, I leave that stuff up to my son, hoping to get the occasional drive in.
I haven't gotten a windless day to do proper testing, but in my '1 mississippi' counting, I got 60 in about 4.5 with some headwind and chop. I've hit 67 but it was a little rough. The best thing is killing slow boats with 'Captain's Call' Exhaust that don't have an engine to match the sound. Hey, kind of like we do with the AMGs!

I work…when not working I like to get drunk and argue with anyone one this board who says the E55 is faster than the E63.
I’m not about to let Rock win the title of MBWorld most intoxicated poster.
