E55 = C6 Z06: What's it take?

Word on the street is...
My friend with his E55 with Evosport pullies, powerchip ecu, and cats/resonators removed raced a '07 Z06. From what I heard, the Z06 driver wasn't experienced at all and was a beginner. He didn't know what he was doing. They raced on the highway and the Z06 pulled on him pretty hard.
I know his modded E55 is fast as I've seen it smoke a Gallardo and when I ran against him while using N2O I didn't have a chance, his car is very fast. Seems like the Z06 is the real deal. I think that one poster was right...you need NOS

If I go from anything under 45, I will blow the tires off. So, what do you say, 45/50-140+??
As far as Friday, it is a done deal. When do you want to meet? I get home at 5:30. Let me know.
Stay tuned folks for some daylight footage. Should be a good race.

Lets do 30mph to 120ish and then do 45 to 140ish...remember we are just trying to see how these cars stack up, not break the land speed record...if the legnth of the race is to short than lets run a quarter mile run and let the chips fall. You and I and everyone else all knows what happens to my 3800pound E55 after 130mph vs. your 3100 and change Z. I know you can run out 3rd to almost 130mph so it should be good. I will be home arounf 5:00ish as well...lets make it like 7:30ish...just call my cell Fadi. Oh I will reace you 45 to 185 in my evo!....but we all now about power to weight and the Z's wicked high end gearing!.
30-120? Come on now, we are racing real cars here. Stage 5 AMG and a near stock Z06. 30-130 would be over in 6 secs. Lets get a real race in there and get to a little higher speeds. 120 is not even the top of my third gear. How about a 50-160?..
That is more like it.

I can go from a 30, but I will tell you right now that from a 30, you will beat the tires, not the car. I can put it in 2nd, but then my rpms will be at 2,800 rpms. 30 is just not a good mph for me whatever way you look at it. Heck, we can even go from a 50-130 only if you want, I just need a starting point where I can utilize the car's power and not spin/bog. You wont have to worry too much about spinning. What do you say?
If you REALLY just can't compromise with me, then ok, I will give you your 30 roll first.

If we were to do that, we would race to 200 mph..
Actually, weight is irrelevant at highs speeds. If anything, you are at a disadvantage (theoretically) from a dig.
Would love to man, and I wanted to before I got these stupid shocks on. But now, take a look at this...

Unfortunately, I wont be able to go from a dig this time around, but once I fix this issue, we will for sure do it from a dig.

Fadi, I am comprimising...one race how I want it and one how you want it...thats as fair as it gets. Also using first gear is very important in racing as it shows the drivers ability to cope with the power that our cars have and use their(the drivers) abilities to get it to the ground...I can assure you that WOT in my car in first at 30 will light them up pretty nicely, but thats where driver comes in. So lets do the following in any order you want:
Dig to 120.
30 to 130.
50 to whatever you want...
Dig to 120.
30 to 130.
50 to whatever you want...
Come on now Les. With your 550 awhp evo and your AMG, I started from where you wanted to go (40 mph), how about being fair and starting where I want to this time?..

Why are all the fastest drag cars light weight and stripped?
If we were to do that, we would race to 200 mph..

This is like dealing with one of my distributers over pricing...lol, that is as I explained as fair as it can be! Deal.
Ok, tell you what, since you have't seen my post above since you were typing this post. Since I can't go from a dig because I have a bad shock, and since you are compromising, I will do the same. How about this:
30-120 just like you want.
55-145 just like I want.
Deal?? We both get what we want. What do you say?

Here's an example of what a Z06 would do to an SL65 much less an E55. I have a Z06 and i've raced 2 E55s. From 2cnd gear on the highway at 60-140 is about 2 or 3 bus lengths. WHen mine was stock it easily beat Murcielagos, GT2s and slightly beat my buddies Ford GT. I ran a best of 11.2@127. Got kicked off the track after 2 passes each day. I'venever even made 5 passes in a row in the car. Now that I have headers and a tune it's devistatingly quick. Here's a screen shot of my timer when doing the Texas Mile race. You'd really have to alot of mods to even make it close with equal drivers.

My 0-186(300km/h) was like 30.1.
