Supercharger "chirp" fix?
Picked it up this morning, and the slip says that the S/C was operating normally. But they repaced the belt and the idler pulley because the belt was worn. I didn't hear the chirp when I drove it home.
For those with a persistent chirp, this might be the fix.
"Problem" is that the new idler pulley looks very different from the other pulleys. Anyone who doesn't know better will look under my hood and assume that I put a new pulley on the car to increase boost. I will have to carry my printout from the dealer to explain the different pulley. Lest people call BS when I tell them that it is stock.

Mine was in for the chirp 3-4 times before the S/C was entirely replaced w/ the new version, which has been trouble free for a couple of months and several thousand miles.

For those of you hounding your S/A's for a new idler pulley to solve the chirp problem - don't bother.
At first it was not as loud, but now the bird is back in full force.
Also, with the ASP pulley, it makes it a bit worse. You have a louder chirp and occasional belt slippage.
Usually if it is done early enough replacement is not necessary.
I personally like the chirp
