Wrong forum...but since I have an E55, thought I'd get your input on the following post that I put in the 164 forum. Thanks for your thoughts.
Thinking about removing the resonators on a 2007 ML500 and replacing with straight pipes and an x crossover. Don't expect any real performance gains, just a bit better sounding exhaust. If not satisfied, may then consider a muffler replacement. Have checked lots of posts in other forums and haven't seen it done on this vehicle. Anyone have any recommendation on shops in So Orange County CA? Thanks.
