2 points I'm making about the M5.
0-150
and trap speed.
with S M G 3 M5 (not 6sp as someone posted earlier)
again.. find me any CL63, CLK63, E63 or CLS63 trapping higher than M5 SMG3 from a American published car mag or Nation American TV automotive show
0-150 in less 21 sec.

This test was also, conducted on American soil, with American editors!!!.....who clearly state that the E55 is quicker in the 1/4 and also, traps higher!!!!!

you are bringing up a 2003 E55 comparo vs RS6. Now I have heard it all.
If you read my post... I clearly said E63,CLS53, CL63, CLK63 (sans black edition to be fair)
I gave you 3 head to head competitions with the M5 vs E63 and CLS55 in the same road conditions, weather, by 2 different magazines here in N.A.
If you want to play that game.. then you are still 2 miles of 118mph trap speed on the M5

This also a debate between a FI car and a NA car,some 55's have gone extremely fast at the track in better conditions.I havent seen any numbers from M5's doing high 11:30's stock? Is there any?

Is it even remotely possible, with thousands and thousands of these cars sharing the same roads, and a complete lack of solid, irrefuteable, crushingly definitive evidence one way or the other, that they might, (and I do not say this lightly), just might be fairly evenly matched overall with minute differences giving varing advantages to each in different situations.
We can beat them in our race (from a dig), only to lose to them in their race (120-160 through the twisties) the next time. Sorry, couldn't resist.

I don't know were your getting those numbers from the E63. Here is the numbers from Autoweek.
E63 M5
0-150MPH
23.3 23.4
0-60MPH
4.2 4.5
Torque
465 383
As far as the STREET. I have raced three of them two were SMG3 and they have lost from 2-5 cars. One of them is a friend of mine and he knows how to drive. We have ran at least twenty times with the E on top 75% of the time.
We even did a 40MPH roll till i hit the limiter at 150+ With the E winning by four cars.
