LOL....I was a FALSE ALARM..."NO NOISE"...

ALL THE GUY WAS HEARING AT THE START WAS TYRES trying NO TO SPIN with ESP ON...and making this NOISE...

Everything fitted fine but I am not sire if it works or NOT...ONe this is that We had to modify the TENSIONER...Cause the actual screw was missing the tesioner by 5mm !!!

One thing I conserned about it the "METAL PULLies", they get quiet HOT, much hotter then plastic one....So I dont see how the belt will last with those temps...and this puts more stress on all the bearing and etc...

There is a reason why AMG makes pullies the with plastic and rubber... and they cost more to develop and re-produce...

I need to test agaisnt other cars and give a verdict...but I have installed TB at the same time, so it would be quite difficult...

Dont be scared...intsall you kit and tell ME what you think...I will test vs other cars soon, but the car would be faster anyways cause of TB...


My dynoshop is not working till September...I dont know if its right to dyno somewhere else...

Did any9one dynoed on the Dyno machine with which you have take off you real wheels ??? Is it any good ???

Don't know about a trained technician but it took me about four hours elapsed time.

Hi, Victor. In this case no news is good news. The EBW was straightforward to install and is running fine. Looks sharp, too.

Unfortunately my intercooler pump gave up the ghost. I went to the track right after installing and measured IATs of 205 F at the start of the 1/4 mile and 266 F at the end. I actually ran a 13.29 with a 105 trap speed with those temps, which kind of surprised me. The dealer replaced the pump but I haven't been back to the track yet.

My son is off to college so we've mothballed the GTM until his Thanksgiving break. We made pretty good progress this summer, though, and have the engine and tranny installed.

I really need to update our build photo site (http://www.flickr.com/photos/8459683...63074392/show/) I've got some photos...just need to go ahead and upload them. Here's a pic of the engine and tranny, though.

Finally got my kit installed. It went on easy and runs quiet and smooth. I did need to get a larger belt with the Kleemann pulley, the Gates with the kit was too small. Otherwise everything is great with it.

How would with just the Auxiliary Tensioner improve the belt slip issue?
By the way this is with the ASP pulley.

Does your car felt faster than before with the belt wrap kit on?

I didnt feel anything...but I hope my belt isnt sllipping at the TOP anymore..cause before I definately had this problem...
