Forecast is partly cloudly with only a 10% chance of rain.
Unfortunately, it is going to be a high of 87degrees. We could have done this in June. LOL!

His car weighs about 2000 pounds and has about 500whp! 
Ok guys, I just met a guy that owns Tempest Racing (a tuner shop) thats about 1/4 mile from MIR. He said we can go hang out at his shop the night before and dyno and do whatever. He also said we can leave the cars at his shop and they would be safe. Would you guys be interested in doing that?

SleeperX- No rain is better than rain. Hopefully they will change the forecast again for cooler weather. I tried my best to plan this as well as possible, unfortunately the weather is an uncontrollable factor

There has never been a tech inspection at the rentals and i dont expect there to be one. As long as people wear a helmet and dont do anything stupid we should be fine.

Yep, and you have done a great job of organzing this event.

Why don't a few of us meet in Rockville and then head down from there. The 270 corridor has to hold more than a few of us. No need to head all the way to Fedex before we join up. Hopefully traffic will be relatively light being a holiday.

I'm in New Market at Eaglehead On The Lakes. Newest part of Lake Linganore if you're familiar. I'm only in Westwinds to play golf. There's a guy who lives right on the #17 hole, I think. He has a nice looking CL600. I see him babying that thing around Frederick all the time.
Anyway, since you're in Urbana, let's just meet there. Maybe at the new McDonalds. The park and ride is the opposite direction for me since I'll be coming Ijamsville rd.

Where in rockville were you thinking? I'm in Gaithersburg so Rockville will work. I will be heading out early with plans of arriving by 9am to make sure everything is prepped and ready for us.

yeah I know where you are exactly...well almost. I sold a friend of mine the new custom contemporary house on the first court on the right in the Eaglehead area....Woodlake Place. Beautiful home really. Inside is just beautiful.

I know that house. I walked through it when it was being built. I'm actually all the way in the back. Craftmark was my home builder. All stone/brick homes. Not gigantic, about 5600 sq ft w/basement, I think.
Anyway, I'll PM you the time this weekend. Don't want any whackos showing up with AK-47s or anything.
But you know, the park and ride sound better. I was thinking the one in New Market, not Urbana. I'm a dolt.

I'm bringing the Z since I just found out last night that my NOS solenoid on the Mustang is fried. It would have been nice to have two cars there but it doesn't look like it's going to happen for me.
