All you need to bring with you is a helmet. All NHRA rules are technically enforced but I have yet to see them say anything at a track rental about roll bars, etc. There is no tech inspection. Numbering will be given at the track using shoe polish on the windows of the cars. You cannot have passengers on the track unless your car is slower than 14s (which it is not). You have been added to the list

Any chance they're gonna do dial-ins with a staggered tree? You know, to give the slow guys a chance?

I guess the only way to do that would be to run everyone once and log their times, then match everyone up accordingly. Bet there's no chance they would do that for a get together event.

You CAN though, line up with similiar powered guys as everyone starts to get their times down.

I just can't say enough how much I am kicking myself for not jumping in on this thing. Even ran a Google search today with the thought running, "If I snagged my brother in law and we drove 24 hours straight.", then Google popped up 2147miles and that kinda took the wind out of my sails.

Get lots of vids guys!!

Course if we could stay at right around 100mph for most of the trip......

Nah, you wouldn't need to do a time trial. Most people could pretty much take an educated guess at their E.T.

I doubt they would do it too but it would be kinda cool. I would love the chance to "tree" some of you 55 guys.

Juice just ship your car, you will not find a better place to run your car especially if the weather gets cool. I would love to race in -DA.

Turn off ESP before the burnout. Some people like to just put the car in dyno mode. Others like to launch with ESP on. Its all up to what you like. Try out different ways at MIR and stick with whatever you like

Hey all,

First post here. I found this thread through another forum. I would be interested in running at MIR on the 8th. If there is room and you all wouldnt mind a 335 showing up for some fun I'm in. I know I will get smoked by 90% of the cars that will show up, but that doesn't bother me....much.

I have not run this car yet but cant pass this up. Looks like too much fun to be had, gotta be in.

I would be coming down from Frederick, MD so it looks like there are a few people here who are on the 270 corridor........would make for a fun pack coming down.

I have a friend who runs a '69 Camaro, only runs 1/8 miles normally but he still crosses the 1/4 in the 9's after letting off at the 1/8. Maybe he can come? Now THAT is fast.

my car is been f*cked up lately and its gonna probably sit at the shop for 2 weeks at least...i dont know whats goin on...check my thread "check engine is on" ...i've been waiting for this event for a long time and it really sucks that my car had to do this at this point..I hope u guys have fun time and be safe especially my NJ/NY crew since they are driving down....

Sorry ot hear AMG rider, a full refund has been sent to you. My car may not be done either. I picked it up friday night and check engine light came on as well as a coolant line burst! Gotta take it back.

it would be entertaining to say the least. He cant make it anyway. His car is crazy loud, no mufflers. He drives it on the street occasionally too.
