Track Day at MIR - 10/08/07
As some of you are aware, we are attempting to have a nationwide drag racing day at MIR on October 8, 2007. This event is not limited to AMGs, E55s, or even Mercedes. It is open to all. Hopefully, some of the forum members from California, Florida, Arizona, Nevada, and other parts of the US will be able to have their cars trailered to Maryland for this event. We need 30 people to rent the track on October 8, so if you are interested, or know anyone who is interested please sign up below.

Update: I talked with MIR and they are not open on 10/8 but he said he will open up for us! 
So do you guys want to make this an official date? Its gonna cost $100/car and we need at least 30 cars for us to have both lanes from 9am-5pm with VHT sprayed to the 60'. If you want to reserve your spot paypal me $103 (the extra $3 is to cover paypal fees, not for me) to mercedeseclass@hotmail.com Once we get 30 people I will send the money to MIR and we will be good to go on 10/8. If this is not a good date please let me know. Also, when sending the paypal money please make sure to include your screenname and what car/s you're bringing so I can put up a list. Thanks! Money will be refunded if its a rain date or if we dont get 30 cars prepaid.

The problem is not getting the 30 cars. I know plenty of cars willing to go to a track rental at MIR. I would like to have some mbworld members come out so we can all have a good time and meet the faces behind the screen names. I guess I'll start recruiting, just wanted to make sure the date was ok with everybody.

There has been overwhelming interest and I may have to put a limit on the number of cars coming. I dont want this to turn into a REALLY expensive test and tune! I want everybody to get as many runs in as they want and leave happy. What do you guys think I should set the limit at? Keep in mind we have the track from 9am-5pm. I'm open to suggestions
