got to down shift the 63 to get it to hang. Looks right except the car getting the jump shoulda stayed in front.
Roll u yer windows fer crying out loud,
When lining up vs a 63 or 55 it you know you will be glued, gotta get the jump .
If you are racing a modded 55 simply leave on the 1st honk and then tell the guy what you didnt hear it? ok lets do it again.. honk...leave ...honk honk.. You will likely still be captured

I posted them. Next time we will set up better runs and plan it better. We didn't plan anything before we hit the road so the runs were spur of the moment. Also, first time using the video camera... dont u know im the number one 63 hater, teasing Josh....I love the 63 and I think it will "run its number" with the right conditions and mods, and I have no clue how one runs up top as I have yet to experience it, my buddy has one and Im dying to drive it

I think what these videos might be telling us is that out of the hole the 63 is just as fast as the E55 and sometimes faster due to its ability to hook better. However from a rolling start, the E55 appears to be much faster. Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe there was a video with an AMG tech/rep saying that the E63 was almost as fast as the E55 in the 1/4 mile. Similiar to the Z06/E55 debate, from a rolling start it is a completely different story.
I think the 63 will be more consistant, but it will be very very difficult to match the 55 (stock ) in the 1/4 mile. On the track 63 does better, on the drag strip the 55 driven well should win everytime. I believe 63 does better with traction and this is why you see the 55 getting beaten most of the time on the strip. It is a really fun run. 2 weeks we will have some really good matchups. I will be taking on my first 600, hopefully stock. I will also get a shot at a CLS 55 thats very fast.
And Sleeper you are correct the 55 is .2-.3 faster than the 63 30-70mph, this is why you must beat him out of the hole. 63 will make it up but not until race is over around 115 mph.. the 63 continues to move away at high speed.

Again, I would love for the E63 to be faster somewhere. But I haven't seen anything that says it is. At least not on a consistent basis. Anyone?
