do you know if those go into the door or do they stick out like the stock ones? i want to find ones that go into the door so somebody cant come up pull it open and throw me out

I have them. They go flush with the door. Nothing sticks out.

i do but the locks still stick out about an inch from the door when they are locked

That is something I worry about everyday myself. What is going to prevent someone from pushing the unlock button on the dash?

an 07 e63. my current pins are not flush with the door panel when locked. they still stick out about an inch. if my windows are open, someone can just walk up pull up the pin and have my car

One thing to note, the rear seat passengers have NO way out with the new "flush" pins besides having the person in the front open the doors from the switch.

I suppose if they are able to push the dash button you dont have to worry about them getting in, they're already in!

many of us have changed the pins on our 55's, but he doesn't say what car he has. i remember someone with a 63 having troubles as their pins are not the same.

If you have keyless go they will be in for a big suprise when they through you out of the car, lol. I think the car will just shut off, am I wrong?

Incorrect, they can still drive until they shut the car off. I Have heard some stories of the car shutting down in very unusual circumstances, but I don't believe that its common. I have twice had to bring my wife a key when she drove off after I got out with the key (thankfully both short trips under 5 miles).

Today i was taking a car service in NYC and was riding in a 2007 Caddy DTS. They have nice door pins with a knurled design. I checked and they unscrew and they look like they would work perfect on my E63. I have to call to buy a set and try them out I like this style the best so far. The ones on Ebay im not too crazy about. Years back Brabus and Carlsson made nice pins but im going back 10 years not sure if they still do I didnt see them on the web.

I ordered the pins for my e63 yesterday from that my mercedes website.. i will see how they fit and let you all know. As for the keyless go, the dealer told me once the car is 20 miles away from the key it will shut off.

20 miles? thats pretty far for any wave that key can emit to be picked up by the car

The wave only works a few feet away, perhaps the car just shuts down after 20 miles on the odometer, driving in circles would achieve the 20 miles.

I have to figure out how to install them so give me a few days for a rept on how they look and work etc..

As for the website, very quick arrival and they sent me a 2 trial bottles of duragloss wax and cleaner and a microfiber wash cloth. Pretty sweet customer service i give them props and would use them again.
