First impression please I've never tried the X50... I don't think the gearbox is different from regular turbo. If that's the case, it was a big turn-off for me... felt vague just like my C4S

thanks... good thing I didn't pay anything close to that.

I paid 84k CPO and netted 59k on my trade.

110... try 118 for 3 days last week... it's been hot to say the least!

Thanks... I really can't even believe it's in my garage right now... this exact car has been my dream car for so long... silver w/ yellow accents.

The wifey is starting to come around... LOL After I showed her the car seats fit... she was alright with it.

I'm afraid to see what VRP has in store... need to stop spending

Did you get the dealer to check the brakes? Time to call Protomotive LOL!!!

I know.... crazy man. That previous owner went nutz with the options! I love it though... everything I wanted in a TT. This car was so perfect that I bought it on Friday without even driving it until I picked it up yesterday (going through CPO). Obviously the whole deal was contingent upon a test drive.

I did have the dealer check the brakes... 85% front / 95% rear. It's on the CPO checklist and paperwork. The car looks and even smells brand new.

I like those, but I would probably get the Champion wheels first.

First mod will most likely be suspension for a slight drop followed by an exhuast, ecu and headers. What's nice is that the car already has the k-24 larger turbos so (part of the X50 upgrade) and larger intercoolers, so an ECU tune really opens out the boost. If I'm not mistaken those few mods will put me a little over 500whp and that should be plenty in the this car.

Well initial impression is that its every bit as fast, but I really haven't had a chance to get on it. That and I have to really improve my shifting. It has the short throw shifter kit so I have to "learn" it.

Good idea with the Champion wheels. They are very well made, forged, and most importantly, light. I'm still waiting for my chamion RF67 - should be the first in the country with these in 19".

The techart's are a nice, classic porsche wheel, but if yours are like what's available for the 997TT they are very heavy.

Great news about the brakes YOu dont' want to change those any time soon! Actually if you were forced to, you'd be better off going to a bremob big brake kit.
