Vadim,
It is starting to be a bit confusing. Can you post a summary of where you are with the possibilities? There are a few posts every now and then and I find myself reading back through the entire post to see what is relevant. Still very interested in the results. Thanks,

CLK63 Black, E350 Wagon, Supercharged Denali, Lotus Elise, Tesla Model 3 Dual-Motor.
Vadim,
Will these work on a CLK63 Black..?
Will these work on a CLK63 Black..?
Took the manifold apart on 63 and here is what inside:
Twin 72 mm Thottle Bodies. I do not see any gains from playing with those.
I went ahead and installed heat spacers while the manifold was out. It should be a very easy 1 - 1.5 hr. install. Intake manifold is made out of magnesium and does not even need to fully come off to slide spacers in.
Thanks to the heat spacers, the intake manifold is now 30-40F degrees cooler and does not become a huge heat sink. Intake temperatures now come down significantly quicker and stay lower during city driving. I can now open the hood after the car was sitting hot and put my hand on the manifold.
The Heat Spacers are available now on introductory special - $239 a set ($289 Regular, Save $50). Two sets of intake gaskets are included.
Underdrive Pulleys are coming this week and we are starting on headers tomorrow.

Vadim, you mentioned either earlier in this thread or in a similar one that you were looking into a higher rear end gear but there was some discussion of finding software to work with the tranny. I know my old 2wd E500 had a higher rear end gear and a 7sp, so software must be available from MB. I know when I finish the quarter I've got a lot more room left in 4th gear and the car would benefit from finishing the quarter just before a 5th gear shift (spending more time in the meat of the powerband). Since the car is much easier to control off the line than an e55 on a well prepped track, it seems a shorter rear end would shave at least 2/10's off the quarter without making a lot of radical changes. Drag radials would then come more into play, shaving 60 ft times. Are you still looking into offering this package, or are you primarily working on the FI, ECU, Header solution? It is the first change most racers used to make to their muscle cars, so I imagine it would be a great first move in the e63. Plus, the dealer probably could not claim any warranty issues besides damage to the rear gear itself. Thanks! Z

Yes, I am still looking for a shorter gearing solution. I am expecting a STAR diagnostic system this month. Hopefully there is a solution in it. As always, I will post my results.
does this mean you can modify a few of settings with your STAR DS?
1)-10 fan mod
2) star lowring
2) key reminder sound
4) provide STAR DS reports for trouble shooting?
5) Xenon setting (cars without the Bi-xenon lights)
I would not mind paying for these types of services.

finally.. a STAR DS available to us in So Cal.
Before we would have to wait for STEVE ML North American Tour to help us with these functions or have a good SA at the Dealer willing to do it.
