Yep. That Audi is quick.. I raced him from a complete stop today. I must say that his car is one of the quickest that I have raced from a complete stop. We were neck and neck out the hole..

Quattro. One of the beautiful things about an Audi - in addition to the fine drivers seat.

I had a chipped S4 and I could floor it from a stop into a right or left turn and make the turn with no trouble. I can't do that in my CL55 - unless a donut is the desired outcome.

I wonder what would happen if we tune our E55s to run with a bit of race gas, I understand you would have to tune the ECU to run with race gas. Just curious....

The S4 shines out of the hole do to its AWD, that is why I wanted to race him from a stop. We ran from 0 to about 130 or so. Not sure if the outcome would change if we ran from a roll, but I am happy to do it.

By the way, I think your car was clearly heat soaked after the first run. Doesn't make sense for you to easily pull on him in the first video by about 1-2 car lengths and then have the outcome reversed in the next 5 runs.

If I can recall you posted on here that your supercharger shut off one day and you weren't even racing. You should have you Evosport cooling system flushed. I think you have air trapped inside of it.

Sounds like you need some new tires my friend because I enjoy running AWD cars from a stop.. No wheel spin just neck snapping acceleration.

We dont have to run those 116 or something crazy octane race gas....we could try 106 unleaded race gas...i think it would make big difference....let me try this week..

Hey Frank,

Nice little run we had yesterday Always fun to run some other fast cars. For everyones FIY, from a dead stop to 130.....Sleeper X and I were pretty even in 1st (I only soft launched since my clutch won't hold for hard launches), 2nd.....and pretty close through middle of 3rd (about 85 MPH or so).....but Franks car pulled by end of 3rd and then pulled in 4rth. It was def fun and his car is a BEAST (as we all know)!

I have a more sensible explanation to why Joon pulled on the 1st run and then outcome reversed. When I mix racegas (added 1.5 gallons of 110 to 2-3 gallons of 93 Exxon the night i ran Joon) in.....I change my Timing maps and it takes at least 2-3 good WOT pulls for the ECU to adapt. So my car was slowest on that very first run (I knew that would happen).....and it would only get quicker as it adapts. As it adapts.....it will gain as much as 3+ carlengths....depending on weather and conditions, etc. Therefore guys....I don't think it was the heatsoak...as my car with Twin-Turbos and small Sidemount IC's heatsoaks badly as well. It was just the ECU adapting...doing its thing...and getting faster with the better gas.

All in all....they were super fun. We can do more comps again soon....always fun to stretch the legs on our cars. Frank.....let's do some highway/roll comparisons if you don't mind.

Hey Joon.....there Fort Lee Sunoco on 46 right before the bridge has pump 100. It's pretty good. I usually like to mix in Sunoco 110 with pumpgas to get close to 100 octane. Let me know if you need to get racegas

Jackson,
Mind? Are you kidding me? Most weekends I am out cruising the highways just looking for a good run.. We will certainly meet up again in the near future and test our cars out again, but this time let's evenly distribute the weight as I had my brother in my car who weighs about as much as I do.

Awesome Of course....we should even out the weight, maybe I'll add a passenger to film as well to even it out.....either or. I'll try and get my buddies Protomotive Porsche too....if he's up for it
