Are you kidding? where'd you get the idea I was insinuating the C6 is SECONDS faster than the slk55? Where did I post that????? I merely repeated my experience racing STOCK vs STOCK....
And NO you're wrong Juicee heavily implies the perf of the 63 is better on the streets than the Z06, quoting the Stunt drivers w/30 yrs driving experience who said it felt faster, & beat the C6 Z06.

My car is not faster than an E55 or an E63 or a Z06. This thread was about my show featuring both cars in a manner that I felt was of interest to members here. The guys driving the cars happen to really like the Merc, why is that so hard to believe? The driver of the Corvette said it shifted like a "forklift". Just opinion and no offense intended for Corvette owners. I am sure with proper traction and shifting the 63 would be destroyed.

The E63's CLS63's on the West Coast have horrible times & traps, high 12's @ 108-111 any properly driven C6 Z06 would absolutely rape any 63! and for Juicee to actually say these drivers are capable is plain hilarious.

I have driven a C6 Z06, & have 3 good friends who own them, they shift very easily, it's the traction and TM involvement that sux! It speaks volumes w/your now reporting how the stunt driver said the Z06 shifted like a fork lift
what an ***, obviously couldn't row the gears to save his life...

flags because in reality, it's just not true. I can't recall any posts that said a Z06 was pulled in any race but it's quite frequent to hear a 63, 55 or an M5 for that matter get pulled with regularity. Perhaps a better description of those drivers are that they're "stunt drivers" not professional drivers. I recall a youtube video recently where a heavily modded 55 got walked/spanked by a Z06 (easily). And just because you had some success with a Z06 you raced doesn't mean anything. Go to dragtimes.com and see quarter mile times for the 63 and compare it to that of bone stock Z06's.

I have seen some Incredible Vette times but it seems like they run poorly more often than not

I know your cls63 is not faster, remember the race posted in this section from Zlicious?? raced and pretty much destroyed an E55k Ren 5 w/over 100rwhp & rwto than your bucket, that Renn 5 would run CIRCLES around you..

Get it thru your head, there Manual tranny 6 speeds compared to a point and click automatic, much harder to master, still it does not make them a slower vehicle just most of the time poorly driven.

but in a short burst because traction is key the 63 does really well against rear wheel drive opposition. Hell I have been waxed by diesel powered trucks its all about grip

I agree with you too buddy, now calm the hell down and come down to Hollywood, I will even call you a drive on to the lot so you can talk to the drivers and perhaps help them with the Z06, LOL...You have my number I aint making this stuff up.

Btw I can easily see a 63 beating a zo6 from a dig on a short run. The zo6 is a biatch to launch ... just like my car. I think what juice is saying is that the chance of driver error is large for a zo6 because of the enormous tq/hp and if that happens a 63 can beat it.
Why is this hard to understand? I believe that juice can beat my car if I get a horrible launch ... but is his car faster than mine? NO.

Just telling it like it was, the Vette has reported 0-60 of 4.2 w/3.15 gears, I think that's a few lengths faster to 60 than a stock slk55 NOT SECONDS! If it was seconds I would've said "Hey I pulled 10+ lengths on him"

Many here including myself may use the wrong words when describing potential outcomes.
The stunt drivers are certainly experienced but it takes some seat time in any car to drive to full potential. The 63 was likely just easier to drive from light to light.

I've said this all along and agree w/you, the only reason I got involved was Juicee acts/thinks no matter who's behind the wheel on the "STREETS or in HIS experience at the drags, the Z06 is inferior" Juice said "He was CERTAIN both drivers were CAPABLE, and they had 30 years experience blah blah...." But then started back peddling saying well if properly driven the Z would take 'em
