MIR is almost 1.5 hrs from the ocean, not sure that constitutes ocean breeze but yes it does get cool air when its cool, but you wouldnt want to race there now, even in October it will still be in the 70's

Back on topic.

Show me a dyno before and after, i dont care what tuner, of a CLS 63 E 63, CL 63, S63 that gained the advertised HP and torque after an ECU tune. I will even take it further. All tuned 63's join me in Sacramento for a tuners challenge in November. Stock 63 vs Tuned 63s? That should settle who does the proper tune and who should get the biz. Maybe powerchip vs evotech vs. whomever. This would be the only way to settle what products work and what is simply money down the drain.

Anyone want to step up and organize a meet?

Cool

Don't forget about Carlsbad near San Diego it used to be 90' above sea level. I don't know if it's still there it's been years since i ran there. But it used to be to test at after Terminal Island was Closed down.

lol we get plenty of triple digit weather here with horrible humidity in the summer, although we are in a bit of a "cool" spell right now I know better then to go to the track unless i have some specific testing to do, if its too hot im at the pool

where do you even see products for the 63?, warranty will be fine except evrytime you take it in you need to make sure they do not flash your ECU

back to OG topic.

I would invest on some headers first or play around with the exhaust before you get into the ECU.

507hp is enough... just need to get those TQ is up a bit more.

Look at the data the West coast 55's cannot do better than 12.4 yet in the East they can run sub 12? Cars do better in the East.

Plus the fastest times are in the EAST for the 63 despite the supposed failed tunes.
I've spoken to Jackson about this. He agrees with me that it really comes down to the fact that the West coast just makes all drivers suck and East coast drivers magically turn into pros

All joking aside, I understand you not trying to harm a tuner by posting about it. Its just strange since you are on MBWorld 24/7 and post about everything, yet you never mentioned getting your ECU flashed.

Good luck trying to get some nice low 12's in Juice . You have some amazing 60ft times, I'm sure if theres one guy who will get record breaking times it'll be you.

There has to be an ECU program out there that will give you SOME gain, not a loss in power. Try RennTech/Evotech.

I am working on more power parts as we speak.

It does take time, so keep your eye open for further "AMG 63 R&D#1" Updates.
