AMG55 Kompressor Installation Specials @ GMG
AMG M113 55 Kompressor (E55/CLS55/SL55/S55/CL55/G55) Installation Specials:

LEVEL 1 – 550HP/600TQ
1. evosport – Stage I kit includes brand new over-drive damper, under-drive alternator, water pump and power steering pulleys. Powerchip software programmed to get maximum benefits from CA gasoline.
Regularly $4765 – On Special - $4499 (Save $266)
(Installation Included, Including Phenolic Spacers ($199 Value), including sales tax)
2. Kleemann – Stage I kit includes modified factory damper with under-drive water pump pulley and Kleemann software.
Regularly $3584 – On Special - $3399 (Save $185)
(Installation and sales tax are included)
3. RennTech – Stage I kit includes modified factory damper with under-drive water pump pulley and Renntech software.
Regularly $5087 – On Special - $4799 (Save $288)

Someone was asking me about what headers are available for 55Ks, so I put together this compilation of what is out there.
1. evosport - design - shorty - direct replacement for stock exhaust manifolds. 25-30 RWHP/TQ gains with ease of install and no check engine lights. Retains factory catalytic converters. Fitment - E/CLS/SL55s. Price - $2499. ($100 extra for SL)
2. Kleemann - design - midlength - require cut and re-weld of stock converters in new location. 30-35 RWHP/TQ gains. Fitment - all 55s. Price - $2995.
3. Cargraphic - design - midlength - require cut and re-weld of stock converters in new location. 30-35 RWHP/TQ gains. Fitment - all 55s. Looks like they get them from the same supplier as Kleemann, headers look the same. Price - $3195.
4. RennTech - design - shorty - direct replacement for stock exhaust manifolds. 15-20 RWHP/TQ gains with ease of install and no check engine lights. Retains factory catalytic converters. Fitment - E/CLS/SL/CL/S/G55s. Price - $4595.
5. MKB - design - tri-Y long tubes - require replacing or removing converters, possible "check engine" light. No HP/TQ claims. At this time very hard to get from Germany. Price - over $5000.
6. Supersprint/Carlsson - long tube complete exhaust system, from headers down to mufflers, including catalytic converters. 40-50 RWHP/TQ claim. Very few on US cars, possible "check engine" lights. Price - $9,300.
7. TIP - design - long tube tri-Y, no primary cats, definite "check engine" light, 40-50HP claim. New to US. Price - $4400.

I noticed that you stated that Supersprint/Carlsson and TIP headers claim 40-50rwhp whereas for the other headers you do not mention the word claim.. I was wondering if you can comment on the potential of those headers to achieve 40-50rwhp. I thought I read somewhere on this forum that these long tube headers actually only make as much hp as the Kleemann headers. In theory they should make more hp, but do they in reality...
