Update on my ASP Pulley

Well it was the pulley. Lee at ASP is not sure, but somehow the ribs on the pulley were welded in backwards or messed up somehow.

Least we FINALLY know why she was a belt chunkin wild woman.

Lee was great and will personally oversee the next pulley that goes out to me.

What a trip. Thank God she didn't fail on me and come through the front.

Look for an ASP pulley to go up for sale when she gets here in a few weeks.

You're not going to swap it out for the K pulley?

Not the first time.

I like Lee he is cool guy and all, but I have bought ASP pulleys for other cars since 1996 and lets just say this is not the first time.

You are lucky it did not fell apart, the mess when that happens is ..................................

Yeah, already got the EVOTECH in the garage ready to install.

Now that I am back from dinner and have had time to let it sink in....kinda pi$$es me off. Hopefully no crank damage done. She did wobble on me a bit.

Do you not recommend a bigger pulley than the K-1 or Renntech I have? Is there anything you can do to minimize the "stumble" that is magnified from any larger pulley, especially since my car was pretty bad on the jerking associated with the SC engagement even when stock? In my '06, in my area, I really haven't seen the need for additional cooling so far. Jakpro sorry for the thread hijack.
