New shoes for the 997 TT...
Hey guys, though I'd post up some pics of my new wheels. Champion RF67 in 19". Ordered sight unseen back in March as they had only ever been done in 20". These are probably the first set in the country.
Took me a while to find a wheel that I liked. I had some criteria that was a bit difficult to meet. First off, had to be forged. Had to be lighter than stock (these are around 22R and 19 or 20F), and (this must be my age coming into play) no big lip or lots of polish/chrome. Just too blingy for me. A company who raced their wheels was a bonus.

Sweet reminds me of a 1 piece of the sport classic wheels. Looks good I agree your criteria for wheels meets mine i am not into the flashy big lip stuff myself
Throw in a RUF Coilover kit and your car will look and feel even sicker. I did this on my C4 cab what a difference it made.

I will probably try to sell the stock wheels. I have a company car so don't need to drive this in foul weather so the summer tires will be fine.

Congrats on the RF67's. I believe I read a post of yours on 6speed when when ordered them, expressing concern that they might not carry over the look of the original 20" version. Needless to say the 19" version is beautiful. They fill out the wheel wells perfectly, are light, stong and built by a company with F1 racing heritage. Well done!
As for lowering, personally and only my opinion, I would leave it like it is, unless you want the coilovers to tighten up the roll in the turns. Your car is perfect!

Dont do just springs in NY the car will be terrible, I have tried the PSS9 system and all others from TechArt, KW etc. the RUF is by far the best for the NY roads we have its the most compliant due to their shock valving i guess. They way things are looking now on my E63 i may trade my C4S cab for a 997 TT or GT3 RS.

Nice wheels, nice car. I would try and post your pics in a Porsche forum such as Rennlist etc. You will probably spark a lot of interest on your new wheels there. Best of luck with that nice ride.
