New best time in the 1/4 mile, had a mini meet at NED
Hello everyone, today me, Roland, Lee and Zach where at NED doing a night of 1/4 mile racing. Conditions where perfect, it got down to around 55 F and it was very dry out side. I will let these guys post they're times, I will however say Zach laid down a impressive stock time with his E63, he did a 12.4. Now for my times...
Finaly, I got some respectable numbers, even though my trap speed is still 5 mph. I have a ASP pulley and Evosport headers. Other then that the car is stock, I have regular Goodyear tires and had about 3/5th's a tank of gas + 62K miles. I will post a pic of the time slip, but to summerise my time, I did a 12.19 @ 112.64 MPH. Me and Roland had a heads up race too, he was in the slow lane and had a bad 60's, I did a 12.3 to his 12.4, he however trapped about 3 MPH faster. I still can't believe I pulled off a 1.7 60's with a pair of Goodyear street tires, pretty impressive. I did a good 12ish second burnout, lined up and mashed the gas, the car just gripped and took off like a cannon ball. The 0 - 60 MPH comes out to 3.54 seconds, I used a generic online calculator to get that figure, so think of it what you will.
It was great meeting everyone tonight, I hope we can do it again some time. Lee is hopefully going to post some vids soon

Had a great time last night also... before I left I saw Higginsbeach post a 11 sec run... sick. Also Lee was posting some demented times in that demented E55 wagon. The ulimate sleeper! The announcer sounded perplexed at the number of Benz's running last night. I believe the direct quote was "what the heck is going on here at New England Dragway tonight? Pretty soon we are going to have to have 'Luxury Car' night!" Nice change of pace vs. all of the mustangs, firebirds, and STI's that dominate the track. Gotta figure out how to get this E63 below 12.4 - thinking some more miles might help. Since I still have no idea how to attach a file, here is my timeslip typed out:

What a great time had by all last night. Ethan, Lee, Zach, myself and Tom, my brother in law all were present last night at New England Dragway. As Zach mentioned, it was GERMAN night last night. The announcer had a lot of fun with us last night.
Ethan had some great times last night and much improved over his last 12.4 and 12.6 runs. We lined up once at the end of the night and he beat me 5/100th's. BTW, they were our worst runs for the night.
This dude can LAUNCH and do burnouts. I should have let him drive my car for the last run of the night. He and I were the last cars to run last night. I think he personally could get me an 11.8X driving my car. How about next week Ethan???

The best time of the night goes to LEE who had a great run last night. I will not take his thunder so I will let him post his stats for last night. He has an incredible E55 Wagon with all the options and modifications. What a great guy to hang out with.
As for me, I had my best ET and Traps last night at New England Dragway. I have compared it to my 2nd best time for comparison purposes so I may get some meaningful feedback.

YOU ARE THE CURRENT best stock run in a 63 in the USA!
And yeah you have .2 to make up in 60 ft. Car trapped well.
1/8 mile trap speed is highest stock as well
5/100ths away from best time ever run which includes ECU tuned sixty threes.
The Benzes ruled , great runs guys. Did you get a chance to race heads up vs a stock 55? Do you feel better about racing one?
Your the #1 time so put it in your sig and I will also post you up in the best times thread.
Keep posting and the newbie thing goes buh bye, hope I helped you a little in achieving your best time.
stock tires.. and a low mileage car, this is impressive. You are going to flip when you attach some drags on the rear.
