Mod on MAS Sensor worth 10+ HP??

Exclamation Mod on MAS Sensor worth 10+ HP??
Has anyone tried this mod on their E55? You take the square net out of the top the MAS sensor? I here it gives you 10+ HP

He has W210 E55. Those did have a MAF. Taking out the screen will cause erratic signal for MAF and rough running engine.

I never look under the person name for what they drive,I just assume they post in the correct section's...

When I had my w210 E55 I "de-screened" the MAS and yes, it did pick up some HP. I never had problems with rough running or anything else. This was/is a pretty common mod on other cars, which is what prompted me to do it with mine.

First thing I did to my 91 fox body mustang back in the day, along with removing the airbox silencer. The car went 14.30's with just those mods, those were the days.

Back about a Yearago. GTA 23109a was kind enough to give me this descreening Tip & Rflow 306 confirmed it . I say It works quite well , with no bad side effects at all . I sware it was worth a free 7 hp !! Give it a try
