OT: Law Enforcement abuse again in my E63 Cell phone use and i wasnt on it!

Well NY has this rule not to be on the phone. I have Bluetooth but it sounds like crap from what my clients tell me.

Now today was my 3rd ticket with my E63 for this damn cell phone. I never ever got a cell phone ticket in my life in any other car.

First 2 times I was in NYC both Saturday nights these homo cops broke their necks at the car and giggled to pull me over trying to embarrass me in front of my date. Both times I was on the phone and I admitted it and took the ticket and paid big deal. Both cases the cops looked like 18 year olds and acted like ones too.

Today I was driving to a clients office and I see a non NYC cop parked in the Shell Station. I drove by in 2nd gear and the creep pulls out chasing me. Now the honest truth I wasn’t even on the phone. I thought he was getting me for no front plate. Not the case. He told me " Hey I have 20 20 vision and I saw you on the phone" I actually took my shades off and said officer your seeing things it’s not a matter of the $120 ticket it’s the principal give me a ticket for something valid there is no way you can see me across traffic 100+ yards away while im traveling 40mph to see me on the phone. I told him I had Bluetooth and my phone was under my left thigh on the seat and my call list was blank the cop was just an idiot. He asked me "3 " times what I did for a living which was completely irrelevant for a traffic stop. Took my credentials, kept me for 28 minutes on the side of the road. I rolled my window down it was humid and the officer kept staring at my Zenith Defy Classic time piece on the door edge which is a bit flashy but sharp in rose gold and stainless. Im glad that got him thinking what an underachiever he really is.

He comes back with the ticket telling me to plea if I want to go to court and I looked at him and said, do you really think I have time to sit for hours in court with degenerates to fight a $120 ticket? I said this in an arrogant way to really bust his bubble the ***** he was. I honestly asked him why did you pull me over? He said well you have a nice car and I spotted it easily and I also “saw you on the phone” I just gave up. He then said he could have given me a ticket for my window shades being up I just nodded my head and said thanks have a nice day and that’s it.

Such discriminating BS to drive a nice car to have these losers interrupt your busy day with nonsense. Top it off I am not a young kid dressed like 50 cent driving around. I can imagine if I looked the part and had tints they might call for backup.

Get a copy of your cell phone bill with times and dates on it,then point out in a letter to the courts, where your ticket time, compared to your last call on your cell phone is,and plea not guilty by mail.Should be no problem.

I will just pay it i have no time to deal with this when i rather be making money investing.

This has always been a problem in NYC for years wonder if this happens in other states. Law enforcement doesnt realize the younger generations today tend to be very succesfull and make up a large portion of the luxury market.

Thats why when they hand me the tix i arrogantly laugh it off like its a joke because the $120 doesnt dent my pocket

What a crock of shiit.............harassment at its best. Some police officers just have a hard-on for anyone that drives anything better than a Crown Vic. haha

I agree................. just pay it and move on. I see no payoff trying to fight it.

Fight it. It's not the fact that it's only $120, it's the principle

Cops invite the disrespect they're currently experiencing.

Yesterday, rush hour traffic in Atlanta, an unmarked (apparently) car blocks forward progress at a light as he sits, signalling to get into the completely full turning lane. I have to wait till traffic clears on the right to get around him, honking vigorously. Did notice the police interceptor badge as I pulled around..oh well.

I turn at the next light, he's now following me. Pulls me over, asks me if everything's OK 'cause he noticed me honking, wanted to make sure I wasn't in any distress...nice probable cause play, I might add. I said "who are you kidding, you know exactly why I was honking you were blocking traffic" We had a further exchange of pleasantries, ending with him counseling me to "take care" and me suggesting "he have a nice day" Repeated that phrase to him as he gets in the car, just for good measure.

That's BS. I know you don't want to spend the time but you should fight it. the first thing I thought of, as mentioned by someone else, is to use your cell bill and compare it to the time on your ticket.

Where were you? If not NYPD, who? I wonder if you can plead not-guilty by mail and submit the bill.

Some legal advice...

If memory serves me correctly, a lawyer can appear in court on your behalf. No personal appearance is necessary. If what you say is true, your cell phone bill will show a "reasonable doubt" and drop the charges.

Welcome to my life...

The problem is, I'm a teenager. I have flashy chrome rims. I have a loud subwoofer. Windows are tinted. I have blue HIDs and neons. I wear a nice watch and gold chain and bracelet. I have a chick in the pass side (most times I've gotten pulled over at least)...

Everytime I get pulled over they immediately think the car was either stolen or that I'm a drug dealer. Its getting pathetic.

I'm actually pissed right now because right before I read this thread, I was sending my 3 most recent moving violations into my attorney with a nice big $ check.

I suggest you get your windows tinted so you're less likely to get caught with a cell phone. You're also lucky you've been getting away with no front plate in NY.

Cops can be such pigs.

The Location was White Plains NY near the County Center

If I plead not guilty I will get a court date in like 90 days it will most likely fall on a day I can’t make it and then will have hell to change it etc and if I forget they suspend your driving credentials.

I know they win and I think that’s why they give guys with nice rides tickets because they know they won’t bother fighting it.

I have BSed my way out of more tickets than anyone I ever met but that was when my life was different and I had much more time to **** away.

I get stopped at least 3 times a year speeding on the Henry Hudson Parkway. Same cop every time and his wife works near my office we BS all the time and he lets me go. Every time he stops me im in a different car it’s so funny but he is a damn cool cop. I even showed him my laser and radar unit inside he laughed. I even offer for him to take my car for a blast and comeback for the sake if it, he gets so tempted but it makes him feel good and we are now friends. Why can’t most be like this?

my opinion (admitted) was not based on fact. i've seen so many faked confrontations on the self posted video boards that I just got jaded about this one. tnx for the pointer, B.

Not faked. The officer has been suspended without pay. Hopefully, his law enforcement career is over. This has certainly happened many, many times... only recently have the cameras been available to protect the citizen AND the cops. Funny how the officer in this case "lost" the video from his cruiser. I think I'll get one in my car.

Kid's a ball buster though, I've got to hand it to him. You should read the transcript from his DWI stop...he's definitely looking to catch them off base. The supervisor there did an excellent job controlling himself. Unfortunately, the parking lot cop wasn't smart enough to control himself and appears to have anger issues and is easily baited. Not someone we want patrolling our streets.
