Anyone have any issues with ASP pulley function??
Just curious if anyone has had any problems/issues with the ASP pulley? Not with regard to heat, etc. but with regard to quality, durability, longevity. I have used them many times in the past for custom pulleys without any issues I can remember, but heard from a MB tuner that they were prone to breaking and causing damage when they fly off. Is this true? Never heard of this with the MB world guys.

I've had an ASP pulley for 10 months now, the biggest problem that I have is replacing PS2's at a cost of $315 each after only 4,800 miles.
The pleasure factor for those 4,800 miles was very high ... very high indeed.
Anyone with damage from a broken ASP pulley?

Any other stories out there? If it was eating belts, it was probably because it was not press fit on all the way (not installed properly), or maybe it was the wrong pulley for the application.

no issues..
engine start up is a bit rougher.. I'm not sure why.. but once the car is warm is no issue.
belt slippage will be a problem.
but after the dealer replaced my kompressor clutch, its less than before.
belts do wear off a bit sooner.
without any cooling mods, its probably not a good idea.
I finally installed the johnson pump and it actually lets me keep boost a bit more without the ECU dialing back. The real way to deal with high ITA temps will be in a bigger IC core.
best $800 I have spent on this car...and don't need to mess with the ECU.

Well mine still intact although got quite a bit of rust on it ... which I wd40's so its ok-ish now ... you getting what you paying for here nothing more ... build quality is only barely acceptable for this application in my opinion.
