Aftermarket fuel injectors?

Does anyone know if there is a company out there that makes bigger fuel injectors for our cars? I want to run more boost (will lower the c/r by using a head gasket) but was told that fueling will become the limiting factor very quickly. I was also told that noone makes bigger injectors for our cars with the correct impedence. Any help?

I've use these guys in the past with great success on other non-MB cars.

Use E55 Kompressor injector it is 440 cc (~40 lbs.). Stock, I think are 260 cc (~23 lbs.)

But you will need to have someone reprogram DME to accept them.

You might be better off adding a secondary injection set-up that comes on at certain air-flow number. It will be easier to tune and it might work better.

Good Luck!

Could you upgrade to a standalone engine management system? Has this been done before on the M113?

I don't think this has been done on any newer MB's...at least I've never seen it or heard about it.

I've priced injectors in the past for something non MB related and I've seen both high and low available in a high performance aftermarket application. Not sure what MB uses but one of them (weather high or low) was available in only a few sizes and they were about 2x the $ as the regular ones....naturally these are probably the ones MB uses.

How much boost are you going to be able to squeeze out of the kleemann? Also, how did you go about finding out if the current OEM injectors are not enough for the added boost? Just curious. Also, are your current injectors green?

Awesome shop.

They blueprinted a set of injectors for me.

They can also modify your stock ones.

I pretty much gave up on that idea. Too much work! My car is at the shop getting something else instead

Yes sir! 50 shot low enough? I dont plan on using it very often and when I do use it I will try to be on race gas (I know I will usei t afew times when i'm not on race gas). Hope this satisfies the power urge. If not, I need a new car! The shop keeps telling me to run a dry shot but I thought a wet shot is safer

I don't think I'd want to spray fuel through my blower. But if you go dry, how are you going to add fuel?

05 ML-500 , 03 CLK5.5 AMG has left the Garage
N0S after the Blower

I would put 2 small fogger nozzels . One in each end, centered above the cooling tubes. On the end Plates. Kinda close to where I put the Air Temp & Vac/ Boost senders

You can upgrade the fuel pump and run bigger fuel lines(-6 or -8AN) lines like PTE did/w the stck injectors. Greg C did this as well on his Supercharged CLK55.

Vadim, actually the Bosch greenies(N/A AMG 5.5L motor) are 42lb injectors. That's almost 440 to 500cc injectors. What color are the tops on the Compressor 5.5L inj?

Good info: injector conversion chart

http://www.rceng.com/technical.aspx?...zGsbvyPEaThKdd

http://www.mirage-performance.com/tech/formulas.html

In actuality the stck inj will give Ahmad plenty of fuel if he chgs the fuel pump and upgrades the Fuel lines. I have 660CC inj on my 2.0L 413awhp Talon with the upgraded fuel lines and pump and unfortunately I'm getting AFR of 10.0:1 at WOT under boost(21psi). Getting the fuel trimmed out next week b4 I go down to MIR so that I can pick up more PWR!

Ya know,I wasnt even thinking about the K blower.I was talking about our SC's.On our cars you could put the nozzle right after the intercooler core, would be very hidden as well.

Jet for jet, before the blower will make more power. But don't take my word for it try it and see.
