Those tires are a bit tall,no? IMO,they might rub on the outside on the fronts and rub on the inside on the rears.....but who knows. You dont want 30' in the front and 25's in the rear?

why are you wanting the larger diameter tire in the rear...are you trying to increase rake for some reason?

KDWs dont come in 275/30/20 so i was hoping the 285/30s would fit. and im realy not a fan of the 25 series.
ill just have to pay the pirelli tax and get the new P-zeros i hear they are good anyways.
mikey dont you have 285/30s?

i am running 285/30's but i'm only running 19's. i didn't think 285/30's would fit the e on a 20" rim but i honestly don't know for sure. i really understand you not wanting to run a shorter profile, which is one of the reason i stayed away from 20's in the first place.

it's hard looking good ain't it!

Get 295/25... you'll have plenty of rubber to keep you safe.

I have a 285/30/20 Pirelli Pzero Rosso on the rear of my E and it rubs a little on the outside of the tire. My car is also lowered about an inch and a half. I haven't tried a 245/35/20, have tried a 255/35/20 and it rubbed really bad.

I'm not as worried with the offsets as I am how tall you are going with the setup. What driving will you do? I can tell you that going taller will exagerate ESP inputs and it will kick in much sooner. As long as you just plan to roll and look good, then no worries. If you wanna be able to romp on it, I'd reconsider 20s. I haven't seen an E55 with 20s that had decent acceleration feel.

Good luck with what you try.

2 things:
1 - What would that 11.7 be with DRs mounted on my 18" HREs?
2 - The change is more dramatic when going from 19s to 20s.

Keep in mind that the effect of the radius of weight from the center is squared. Also, you are now getting so far away from OEM diameter that gearing will be affected (for the worse on the dig).

Good Luck proving me wrong. i love the envelope pushing going on lately with these rides.

ya 18" HREs and DRs i would of hit 11.5 no problem at all. i tryed to like the 19s but im just to much of a blinger compared to racer. although i will admit the more i look at my car with the 19 hres the more i like it. but still to me there is nuttin like 20s

My rims are 20" Brabus Monoblock VI's, 20x9 up front (33et) and 20x10.5 rear (38et). The rubbing is not too bad, mainly when I hit large dips in the road is when the rubbing occurs.

I'm running a 245/30/20 Pirelli Pzero Nero. There is no rim protection either with this tire setup. Rubbing in the back is only when I hit a large dip in the road or going up hill where the rear leans back. It's not that bad, but you can hear it. I have to mention, that my rear is lowered to the point where my fender literally sits on the tire.

wow!1 et38 in the rear on a 10.5" rim is agressive.

I couldn't tell you. My front was a et43, rear a et48 and I have 10mm spacers front and rear. They sit flush, no sticking out.
