Thumbs up Upgraded Floored Fab I/C cooler installed

I am really impressed with Chris and this setup! It is separated from the engine cooling system and has the Johnston CM30 pump. The Core is about 50% larger than the stock unit. I have run the E55 hard for multiple runs and it "Definitely" shows no sign of heat soak now. I recommend if you want a great I/C cooling upgrade call Chris at Floored Fabrication now! I am definitely going to get his upcoming 175mm machined pulley when he comes out with it.

2005 E55 drowned/ 2011 CTS-v coupe gone/ 2012 E63 PP,LSD finally here
does this setup replace the stock heat exchanger? the other kits add an additional heat exchanger to the stock setup, this looks like it replaces the stock unit with one bigger unit, can you give some more details and pics, thanks.

Sorry to throw this off topic, but whats the deal with cutting out some of the hood liner? I've have seen this in a few 211's and was wondering what your experience was and if it seemed to help rid some heat. I know that they insulate well because when my motor is roasting, the hood stay very cool. I'm kinda hesitant because I've never seen any data that this helps and the liner is kinda nice as far as hood liners go....I know that sounds stupid

The site states $1,900. Can we do a group purchase and get it down to $1,500. Who wants to start a new thread for a group buy. I am sure there are many of us who need it with our mods.

areuv: The stock unit is completely swapped out and the new heat exchanger is completely isolated from the engine cooling system - "Totally Isolated" with 50% more capacity! I know that Chiromikey used the same basic system with the trunk cooling system in addition to this. I am completely happy with the setup and the butt dyno tells me it is working in Arizona with our extreme heat! Give Chris a call! regards!

guys..

I'm working a custom project too..

this is an independent test I'm working with another board member.

will all do respect $1900 for IC core and pump is too expensive.

look at the other IC HE for other cars... and they run from $300 to $1000.

SVT cobra $300

335 AA IC $1000

we know the pump is only $84 bucks and very easy to install.

The real challenge is to design one to have similar in/out ports to have an easy install.

The C32 and E55 IC HE have the same size, except the E55 is thicker and holds more volume. I have seen it with my own eyes.

At the c32 board they are installing SVT cobra IC HE really cheap and making a few mods to have the hoses line up... and even some small cutting to the engine plastic bottom cover.

Don't be surprised if later on we will be able to have a plug and play HE for less than $1k
