Gotta tell ya, I b*itched about my RA1's not hooking when cold, but I have slowly fallin more in love with these things and now consider them the greatest tires I have ever owned. They take hard launches time after time, have taken a 700 mile trip 90mph non-stop trip to Sacto, then dragged HARD and hammered back without any problems. As they are flattening out toward the end of their life they are actually hooking BETTER than ever.
Never really drive in rain and NEVER in snow, so no worries on that end.
Wondering if anyone is running the new 888's (replacement for RA1's)
Sure hope they are more of the same.

All I could say is I will never use any other tire...They are like buble gum, there are many different opinions but with my bad ECU and all I was able to finally get a 1.9 60 footer and that sucks...wait till I get my ECU back, let;s see if I could get a 1.7 with them, lol!...By the way Sleeper X was the one to put me on to them...
