Sorry guys...Nothing good happand..

1st my 17 wheels didnt clear my brake calipers and I couldnt find any other 17x8.5 or 17x9 wheels for 2 days and 2nd it was raining all weekends...

I got fed up cause all the week I was preparing for this race, runing around like crazy, so I gave up at the end and didnt even go to this event...

Nothing really happand there, cause it was raining all day long, most of the cars didnt even race, only couple 4wd ones...So its not that bad, it would of been worst if the weather was good and I couldnt race cause of my wheels...

1st place in US Open was taken by 997 TT mod, 2nd Mitsi 3000 GT and 3rd Skyline....although Skiline was 9sec car but could run porperly in this weather...

Best time of the race was 11.1 on Evo 8....

Sorry to hear that Mike.

Guess it's confirmed....you gotta have those custom wheels from CCW which clear the brakes by mm's for 17's to work.

I'm pretty sure Spero had 17s on his car that he ordered from Tire Rack. His car is on the right:

The 17x9 couldn't fit your front or rears mate? I'm thinking of going 17s just for the back and didn't think the calipers would be an issue.

I haven't spoken to Spero in a long time. I think his id on the board was 04 E55 AMG. You can try sending him a PM or searching for his posts on the subject.

Good luck!
