How about a little Light
Once I got the practice from the Acura and confirming my correct installation, I proceeded to install the second kit on the E55. Again, the install was very simple and required no cutting or splicing. But with the E55's smarts (or call it dumbness) in checking for a burned out light bulb condition coupled with the reduced wattage requirements of the HID kit, the E55 cuts the power from the fog lights.

Their site quotes: "Fully digital, draws less than 6 amps at startup and contains circuitry to prevent modern cars from setting a bulb-out warning message so you can be assured of full compatibility with any car, even with the thinnest wiring."
Obviously, the circuitry that prevents the setting of the bulb-out warning message didn't work. The stock setup is: 12V, 55W, 4.58 amps at roughly 2.61818 ohms. Asumming this is a typical 35 watt HID kit, it will most likely be drawing approximately 2.91 amps. If it detects a lower than spec'd amps, it may be what trips the E55 to turn the fog circuit power off. If someone knows the answer to this, please confirm.
Adam at EuroElites has my car for the week. Otherwise, I would have posted pics. I received both left and right fog bulb-out error messages.
I've left a voicemail for James this morning but have not heard back as of yet. I'm sure he will do the right thing.

Just an update:
As I anticipated, James is going to fix the issue. Big props to James for responding to my queries tonight despite of what he is having to personally deal with regarding the major fire in San Diego.
James - I hope you, your family and your business makes it through the fires unscathed.
I'll give you all more updates when I get my car back from Adam on Friday.

brown +) in a short 6" plug to plug extension.I discovered this when I taped a 12V feed for my beast eyes. Glad you got yours working
The before HID, this is what 9006 silverstars look like.
BTY my city lights are from Pep Boys too. I tried all the others easily spent $35 for all the possible whitest lights, and still the Pep Boys "hyper white" bulbs were the whitest.

Albert,
It was a pleasure working through this issue with you, I'm glad to see that all is well. Post some pics up when you get a chance.
) malfunctioning, the last picture shows no malfunctions on the dash.

Jangy he never mentioned the word "shop". He spoke about James. I thought the dirty laundy had been aired?
If you want the 12000k for the fogs, you'll need to purchase a 12000k HID kit for the fog's. the kit includes ballast and bulb color temp of choice.
Thanks
Jangy - Did you mean "padawan"?
A young Jedi that undergoes intensive one-on-one training under a Jedi Knight or Jedi Master after graduating from the academy. As tradition a padawan of any species with hair grows a long strand of braided hair that is finally cut off during the ceremony of knighthood, when a Padawan becomes a Jedi Knight. A Jedi may have only one apprentice at a time, and is required to promote the current apprentice before taking another. However, this idea was scrapped in a way by Luke Skywalker due to the severe shortage in actual Jedi, as mentioned in Star Wars: Jedi Academy. Padawan is the name of a small town in Sarawak, Malaysia.
If you're going to call me names, please get it right.
Motorwerks here in MI installed mine today and no error codes and they look great at 5000K.
Now, some wizard has to figure out how to hack the headlite switch so we can use the foglites in Auto lamp mode-Engineers?? Anyone? Joker

Now that you have had some time with the new HID fog lights tell us your thoughts.
