How Can BLuetooth be added to my E63? Dealer, aftermarket?
I thought my car had it but it does not. Now is my car prewiring for the hardware to do this? Can I buy the hardware and install myself?
Anyone who has experience and did this please let me know details

does your car have p2 package? mine does, all that was needed is the bluetooth puck ($375). it slips right in and your done. if it dosent have the p2, i dont know. pretty sure the nav comes with p2 which controls the bluetooth

It's a little more then a plug and a wire since it is a bluetooth receiver that emulates a phone on the other side. I just purchased one for my E63 on Ebay new for $290, much better then the $380 I could get it from my dealer for.

reception is based on the phone and not the car. but having at&t i get 5 bars everywhere. it plugs into the center console, behind your cup holders. look on ebay for mhi bluetooth adapter

Last question they have 2 options the interface and the one with the cradle for the RazrV3 with built in interface.
Any difference asside from the charging function? I may buy a the new version of the Razr soon it should work.
What i dont like is the console is tight on space as is now this plug in will make it tighter, oh well

phone compatibility
Ok i need some help here i called that MB wireless source and they have only a handful of compatible phones why is this?
I am going to get a Razr 2 V9M and they said it wont work in my car? Whats the deal here?
My friend has a 335 and his blackberry gives him many problems with the contact list every time and BMW said his phone isnt compatible.
I am upgrading my Verizon contract next month and will get a new phone. I was planning on the V9m
They also said the cradle wont work on the V9M verision just the Razr3 so that leaves the standard mih interface as my only option.
What should I do?

This is what you need if you have the phone prep kit in the arm rest console ... expensive but what a pleasure now with my phone - I always used to leave it in my car... check that your handset is SAP (Sim Access Profile) enabled.
It takes its own sim if required or accesses your SIM in your handset when in the car. So you use the cars antenna / power etc to run the tel and not the handset which is ideal. Handset is only a slave device for the SIM and phonebook.
