Membership Has Its' Privileges
Thanks to several forum members and the posting of
the brake squeel TSB I just got my car back from service. I only put 100 miles on her but the brake squeel is finally gone. They replaced my rear pads, front pads and front rotors. The service manager asked How the heck did I get this info. Told them 'I have friends in high places.' If not for the info I got from MBWorld
this would not have happened. The exchange of information and just experiences in this forum is invaluable to its' members. Thanks for the help. Happy motoring.

Dude how on earth you got them to replace your rotors also!!! LOL...incredible, they wont replace my rotors, well I have had them for over a year now..lol...`congrats.

ehem...you need to beat on them MORE...haha...just one track trip or a succession of 100 mph to 40 mph will get you to, "oh ****, we coulda killed this guy" really soon...haha. Worked with my RS6...

Found this info in the thread E63: Brake Noise. It was posted by SUNIL, post #2 in that thread.
The service advisor only needed A small drive to notice the squeel. They changed the rear pads that day, ordered the front parts. I thought they would just change the pads but they called MB?? and then proceeded to change the rotors also. Don't know what MB told my dealer but the fix worked. Have since put 500 miles on her and no squeel.
Will post the service invoice later.
