modded 2007 BMW 335i vs. Stock 2005 E55 Bro vs. Bro

Thanks for the link, very interesting. I can't wait for my brother to get a 335i...whether or not he wants to spend the money, I'm gonna mod it for him. Black with black rims, chrome lip. Vishnu ECU, catless exhaust...and possible turbo swap in the future

I have no dispute about the kill.
but the best trap speed I have seen was done by a JBS2 piggy back, DP's, DRAG Radials, Race Gas and it trapped 112.
the rest of the V2 are trapping 110 and 109.
3rd and 4th gear on the bimmer is very good and it will beat many cars from a roll.
Like another guy at the E90 post.. talked about beating up a C6 base Corvette with his V2.

but there goes your warranty

BMW dealers are not very friendly too mods.. (at least from what I read that the Bimmer forums)
he did talk about you and how he took you out.
and now he thinks all E55 will loose to him.
have your pump checked out.. you are NOT running at full steam.
335 with piggy back with boostgage.. should not beat a stock E55 at all.
Even if he had exaust, and intake as well.
If you are in So Cali... visit GMG in Santa Ana and have Vadim check your IC pump
You can buy a Johnson pump for around $100 and install is super simple.
its nice to see a healthy E55 in action.
With more more boost, he will be there with you for a while.. but you should pull him at the end. Just my prediction.
Also to the op I believe your brother is running a juice box stage 2 piggy back not a procede.
but the most recent Vishnu v2 trapped 109.xx and possibly 110 in good weather.. however it did manage a 12.4x. The pass was done today 10/18 (search E90post)
its hard to say why the traps are not higher for a 360 to 370 RWHP car that weighs around 3600 lbs.
with DP's, bigger IC Core, and exhaust they should be close to 390 to 400RWHP.. but you won't find too many of those.
Most xede and Procede cars are running high 12's and trapping 107 to 109
people expect the V2 only 335's to push them to 112's or so.. but that has not occurred yet. Probably will need a few more mods than a piggy back system to consistently break 110+ trap speeds.
BTW: The 335 hanging with the M5 is at a higher altitude... which Turbor cars don't have as much power loss as NA or Komp cars.
At sea level or neary sea level.. you will see a different outcome.
I'm all over the 335 and 135 guys... really want one to replace my E55. But many things have hold me back.
High Oil temps, limp mode, fuel pump, reliability of the piggy backs, and the dreaded heat soak.
I'm deciding to move to the C63 and wait a bit more.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
You're just everywhere these days when someone talks about the runs you had against the two M5s.
Anyway, what up? It's Joe with the 545i SMG. As you can tell I stepped up and over to AMG. Hopefully, we can meet up next year in Socal after my project is completed in SF.

Haven't talked to you in a while. Ya chris told me you got a 63. Congrats man.
LOL ya ive done a few things to the car since then. Hit me up when you get out of norcal. Got some catching up to do.
I read your posts all the time..
to be honest.. I have not seen any So Cal videos of a E60 M5 loosing to a modded 335.
I do remember your post when you kept up with a modded M5.. very nice runs.
But your car is not lightly modded. It pretty much has all the best stuff available to N54 engine.
Much props.. but the M5 walks just about any other car on the planet above 120 mph.
I think my original point was... (an is) a piggy back only 335 (SSTT, JSB2) or even Procede 1.47 and maybe V2 will not beat a stock E60 M5 or stock E55 at seal level
However you put both vehicles over 2000 ft elevation and the outcome is different.
There a few E90 post members.. really think that just having the SSTT/Procede v1/JSB2 on their car.. would kill 55's and M5's. That could be true on short runs around town 0-90.. anything can happen
Put both vehicles on a stretch of highway.. and the car with the higher trap speed will win.
Your 335 should be able to pull on a stock E55/E63.. based on the outcome vs the Modded E60.
I was refering to a pigggy back only 335 vs a E60 m5 at high altitude..
here the one that stands out the most..

this is the only race I have seen a E60 m5 loosing to a PIGGY BACK only 335.. and it was due to high elevation.
put those 2 cars on sea level.. different outcome.

My bad I thought you were talking about my videos since the link a few post above was to my thread.
Ya my car isn't fast. Its quick but I don't think I'm going to beat 997tt's anytime soon.
well I'm out of town right now but I'm supose to run a stock e55 soon. We will see how I do. I think it will be a drivers race. Ive switched my set up since ive last raced those m5s. (less power... I think)

from a dig.. I would think you will have issues putting your power down. The E55's squat very nicely at did, and the torque converter does an excellent job putting power down.
From a dig.. its a driver's race for sure.
what ever the outcome.. please don't for get to share with us.
