What is the largest tire I can put on the Rear?
Guy's: I need replacement tires for the original 18" rims on my 06' E55. What is the largest tire I can mount on the rear rims? It currently has 265/35 ZR18"s. Thanks in advance for the help. I want to go with the Bridgestone RE050A Pole Position tires.

OP is stating on his OEM 18" and not buying new sizes. 275/35-18 would fit and actually be a closer match in diameter to the fronts.
Your wheel is 9" wide. Look at the tire specs to see which width is recommended and which width is OK. I'd probably wouldn't go bigger than 285/35 on that size rim.

+1. Go with the 275s.

Keep in mind it also depends on the tires as width varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. For example, BFG's tend to run on the larger side whereas Nitto's are much smaller.
