Well it looks to be about the same size as mine, and it clears the oil cooler. I already got an offer on a newer E55 to check out. So I should know pretty soon. Interesting that he made a single pass tube and fin unit. Nice job on the angled end tanks, definitely needed for his design to help maintain flow. I originally did angled tanks on the C32, but there was no difference over the square tank with the size of ours. Most of the fluid is in the passages, not the end tanks, which is where we want it to be.

Any thoughts on the integrated oil cooler? There is plenty of room to move the unit. If it will clear, then I will not bother, unless people are interested.

guys..

I just got home.. (8:30pm)

I'll post pics very soon of the fron grill and the spacing available.

Car is running very nice as mentioned before and I can hear my whine almost all the time now.. before that was not the case.

I'll take some garage pictures later tonight and start a new thread, but at this point as pointed out by a few.. this IC HE is for 03's.

Brandon comes down to So Cal very often.... should be no problem hooking up.

We use a run down shop in Ontario, they have a lift and I just give them some small change for the time and hassle.

Sounds healthy ... I have seen a 29psi readout on my scangauge display at WOT which gives me about 14.2psi (assuming atmos of ~14.7psi) with the Gator back belt provided by ASP - btw I think this belt sux. My Scangauge does not work after my ECU was modified so dont know what it is now... but feels at least as strong with new Jag belt. ECU smoothed out engagement big time.

Ill get the Autoengenuity on it and check again when I get a chance.

Don't you see it steve? Oh I see you have the monster cm90 not the cm30. It is right there where the stock pump should be.

little things packs a slightly bigger punch than stock and more reliable..

CM090 would be better.. but the core is the biggest problem.

For the 03 E55', this mod is a must even with stock pulley. An for the price, it would be a nice option.

The stock HE bolts directly under the radiator.

SL55
[QUOTE=code3smith;2468008]I just wanted to chime in real quick. The unit was developed from scratch. The Cobra unit has nothing to with my unit, other than in spirit. It is all aluminum, dual pass, 10 row bar and plate, lines up with stock hoses perfectly, aluminum brackets welded to the top of the core for strength, and bolts up to the underside of the bumper. The stock unit holds a measly 28oz, and the new unit holds 80oz (187% increase over stock). It looks awesome in the front bumper of the 55! I cant wait for Joe to post pictures Anyway, I am making some minor bracket adjustments, but otherwise, the unit is developed and will be available very shortly. Here are some teaser pictures. I will start a new thread once my sponsorship starts.

Do you know if it will work on the SL?

Thanks,

RoydRage

as long as you don't have the oil cooler in front like 04 + E55's..

and the bolt pattern is the same as the E55...since the HE bolts on to your bumper frame.
