Boost goes from 11psi to 14psi-14.5psi depending on belt ...
If you can fit teh Jag XKR belt when you install the pulley.

start looking for the IC pump
and soon you will have more options on bigger IC HE cores..
-----------------------------------------------------
I just completed a custom job on my E.
stock core holds around 28 oz of water
new core holds around 80 oz of water
with johnson cm30 pump... and stock hoses.
car is running healthy! You can hear your blower working everytime you step on the gas.
ASP without any cooling mods for the ITA temps is not going to be fun.

If he's asking for pulley specs I suggest not having him tune your car period. Any reputable tuner should have experience with the main pulley combinations and if not, I would not suggest using your car as a test mule.
If he is in fact tuning your ECU with a pulley he's not familiar with, such should be done on a dyno with an air/fuel meter hooked up. This will eliminate the need to know boost/psi increase all together.
Let me know if you have any further questions, I'll be here to help.
Sincerely,
Aaron

Care to share which core did you choose?
Thanks,

its based on the Cobra SVT unit.. but adapted the inlet/outlet pipes to line up with our hoses. Bolts on to the frame of the car.
The developmer is Code3Smith and he become a sponsor very soon.
prices are going to be very reasonable.. Under $1k for sure... probably a couple of 100's south of $1k
I'll take some pics today of grill
The car responds almost at every stab of the pedal and you don't feel the engine robbing power as before.

i have been contemplating an ASP Pulley for just about 1 year. I have always had a concern about heat especially being in the dessert.
I just need to pull the trigger
p.s
TOPGUN:
has there been a thread started about the heat exchanger you're talking about? If not, fire a new thread up. Is that old news?

I'll let Brandon /Code3smith on this board present his product.
we took pictures yesterday and measured volume (stock vs new Unit)
we didn't have time to take ITA readings, but we will soon.
Its very clear to me.. that the new unit works.
I'll send him a PM to start a thread.

I just wanted to chime in real quick. The unit was developed from scratch. The Cobra unit has nothing to with my unit, other than in spirit. It is all aluminum, dual pass, 10 row bar and plate, lines up with stock hoses perfectly, aluminum brackets welded to the top of the core for strength, and bolts up to the underside of the bumper. The stock unit holds a measly 28oz, and the new unit holds 80oz (187% increase over stock). It looks awesome in the front bumper of the 55! I cant wait for Joe to post pictures Anyway, I am making some minor bracket adjustments, but otherwise, the unit is developed and will be available very shortly. Here are some teaser pictures. I will start a new thread once my sponsorship starts.

Air flow through the unit is great. It doesn't block any more air than the stock unit would.

The new heat exchanger bolts in right where the old one was. Was there a design change in later years that moved the oil cooler to the front bumper? This was designed on an 03, and I didn't have to do anything with an oil cooler. The larger unit is moved forward, so it might very well clear an oil cooler anyway. Looks like I need to check out a newer model. Anyone have some pictures of the oil cooler?

Thanks for the pictures Jrocket. Looks like I will need to find an 04+ E55 to get some measurements from. Until then, my unit will only fit the 03s.

Well I just came up with a great idea. Anyone interested in a larger HE that has a built in oil cooler as well? It would be easy as pie to make the bottom of the unit separated as an oil cooler. Thoughts? I should probably start a new thread on this lol.
