I presume we will need a helmet for the track day at Calif Speedway on 10/26. Can we rent one anywhere? Do they rent them at the track? I want to come prepared and not dissapointed that we wont be able to run because we don't have a helmet. Replies appreciated, thanks in advance!!!

I never been to that track but i have never seen helmets for rent. Your better off just either buying one or borrow one from other members while there cars are cooling.

I don't think that you can rent one at the track. As someone mentioned above, your best bet is to find someone that you can borrow it from.

Bluemax: The car sounds identical, Color, Interior, Options P2 etc, but the time frame is off by about 6 - 7 months, I cancelled my order in Oct/Nov of 06' with the Delivery scheduled for late Oct./early Nov.. Sure sounds pretty nice though, enjoy! Originally Posted by Bluemax

I just purchased a DOT certified helmet on ebay. It's an open face type model and it was 45.00 which inlcued shipping.
I coulnd't belive some of the helmets that were for sale...some were $900 + obviously if you are a serious racer, then you couldn't put a price on one's life but for a little drag racing....a cheapo will do for me
