Chiming in...
I just wanted to chime in here. I'm a distributor for Veloce Performance, and we're sponsors on several BMW boards and some local Euro boards. We're a European Performance and Repair shop in San Diego.

Here's my offer to anyone wanting to know if Veloce's software works. 10% off if you're the first make/model to have the software installed and if you do a before and after dyno I will also pay for one of the dyno sessions. If you are not satisfied with the results, regardless of the dyno numbers if provided, I will refund your money and return your car to stock or we will tweak it to your satisfaction.

If you are not familiar with my shop or my car, in addition to regular maintenance, we are the experts in performance in the area. My daily driver is a built 600+ RWHP E36 M3. Here's a cheesy timed video from 0-150. Here's another of me on a mountain cruise with some E39's and a modded 996TT. Those video's are on 91 octane pump gas and low boost.

So you trust Veloce Performance that much even though the before and after dynos were not that promising?

Para:

The issue is not whether or not the tune actually does something or if the buyer will actually like it. The issue is in the 50 HP gain that is advertised with this product, and this product only. Surely you must understand this.

With all this going on you'd think that a tuner would just post a before and after video of an E55 on the dyno proving its case once and for all.

Why is it up to us to see if the product actually lives up to its claims? That's just silly in my opinion.

Wait a second... it says up to 55 HP. That would mean around 45 WHP, right? The site doesn't mention what cotane the gains are with. Is that with Race Gas?

I'm sticking with Adam for any of my performance needs. His claims are realistic and his prices are very good.

+1 !!!

When you introduce yourself by making fraudulent claims it builds distrust, and that connotation will stick with you...

You build a relationship by building trust. By making realistic claims, giving a good value, and DELIVERING!

That's why I will always stick with EuroElites!

Just feel bad for people sometimes. What might have worked on other forum after forum...sure ain't gonna work here.

With you guys, you gotta "bring it", but it's gotta be true!!

It's funny watching people over the years try to get things by us, only to be invited to the ownage ceremony.

I do understand the skepticism.

As for why I'm not providing a before and after dyno of an E55, if I had one then I would. We'll be doing an E60 M5 in the near future and I am trying to get the customer to do a before and after dyno. But it's his car, so his choice. I'll have a before an after of an E36 M3 soon also, it's one of my shop cars.

Don't try to act as if this board is different than any other board focused on high end cars. The BMW boards and Ferrari boards react similarly and rightfully so.

It's not being snippy. It's defending my own post, and it certainly isn't picking on anyone. I am addressing only you, and only your post hence the quote.

Ahh.... all of these bashing could be solved easily by having 55wagon dyno and show the chart....

Or... if 55wagon can join 12/8 test & tune @ Sacramento Raceway.... should be quite interesting in seeing the result.

My car is Evotech stage 1... so if Veloce really gives gains as much as stage 1 (40-50 whp/wtq) w/ only ECU upgrade, 1/4-mile should be more or less the same as mine (given same time, same track, same everything....). Just my 2c.

I agree, that would be great if he would go. His time may not be the same, but the trap will say a lot.

Read the entire post, it was a different operator. Some people do not know how to operate a dyno. A proper before and after should be the same dyno, same operator, and same conditions. The conditions aren't always easy to match, but it should at least be the same dyno and same operator.

You say it's a ripoff, but you don't know the number. Was it 1 HP less? Was it 40 HP less? We don't know.
